I really liked November's cover of Domus mag,

because it featured a very nice project done my

    friend Stefano Testa.

The project is excellent, the decision to have it onthe cover is great (bravo Joseph Grima), and I

really like this thing of having someone working

silently for more than twenty years and finally

getting a booooooooooom recognition on such a

    big scale.

What else? Looking forward to see next

    Here some more images: http://www.facebook.

Berlusconi, he was the prime minister, he was a

funny guy, he was a gangster, a very simpatico old

chap. A lot of characters in the same person. Hewas also a charmer, a liar, a successful

businessman... I guess Italians loved him so much

simply because he was a mirror for all of us (and

for some 20 years the majority of people really

liked to see themselves reflected into him). I'vebeen always impressed by his talent to use

    material culture for his communication

necessities. The way he dressed, the houses he

lived, the swift use of interior design, make up,

clothes, masks... He was a master manipulator, and, at this game he was best. Very fascinating

and very spooky. More images at: http://www.

Very nice to know that soon there will be a huge

exhibition covering all the dots made by Damien

We were busy preparing our things for Stuttgart

exhibition when Francesco Librizzifound this nice

pedestrian thing just opened in Germany. We wereimpressed because of its similarity to our

"rollcoaster" piece (no one ever invents anything).

Anyway, Heike Mutter and Ulrich Genth did a great

work. If you want to see more, here the link: http:

    Rome

    ...Sitting with a Parrot...

Here we have Marisa Berenson, sitting with a

parrot in the Roman apartment of Cy Twombly.

For the (very) curious minded, she wears a white

organza dress by Valentino, and she was

photographed by Henry Clarke (to get in Vogue,

March 1968). I wasn't even born, mamma mia.

Very nice. Now, a book came out with all her life

in pictures (for people who lost some visual

chapters of her fascinating life): http://www.

    Dinner at Pinocchio

There are some friends I meet once in a while, but

quite regularly. Franz Goria is one them. I like

when he comes to Milan and we have dinner at

trattoria Pinocchio. Lots of talk, chitchat this and

that. He always busy with lots of things, and to

spend an evening with him (drinking wine and

smoking some) is always a great gift. Franz has

several different characters. Here is the visual

    person: http://www.chicchicken.cc/contact.html

    Duisburg, Germany

Some days ago I went for dinner at Duilio Forte. It

was nice, as usual. I was very impressed by these

chocolate mices brought by Angela Rui. Shebrought an army of them. All of them watching at

you with their marzipan eyes, perfectly aware of

    their horrible fate...
