UnSelling is about the big picture: creating
repeat attendees, not one-timers. Create
audiences that refer others, not faceless
numbers. Become the go-to event for your
industry.
In this highly energetic and engaging talk,
audiences will learn:
+ Why one negative review can outweigh a
thousand social media followers if it isnt
handled correctly.
+ Why social media can be the wrong
choice for your conference. Actually, most
conferences.
+ Why the people you hire for your
event matter more than the tasks
you hire them to do.
+ Where Canada is going digitally
and how it impacts your event today.
These and countless other underappreciated
truths add up to a new way of thinking about
audiences that will completely change the way
you run your event, for the better.
You dont need social media, but you can be
connecting with your audience socially. Your
event video doesnt have to be viral in front
of a million people, just contagious in front of
your specific attendees. Content, connection,
engagement. Its time to separate from
the pack of noise. Its time to UnSell.

We all do it. And so do the people around us
our co-workers, clients, friends. In fact, studies

visual cues and psychology to detect deception,
Meyer teaches audiences how to go from lie-
spotting to truth-seeking to trust-building. A
certified fraud examiner, Meyer reveals which
personality types lie, how deception is expressed
in email, on the phone, and in person, and how
to detect deception through body language.
Learn how you can gain the upper hand and close
deals that last by mastering deception detection
techniques. In a multimedia presentation featuring
real-life examples and scientific findings, Meyer
keeps her audience laughing while they learn and
presents a path toward trust that emphasizes

MEET WITH WHO YOU WANT
WHEN YOU WANT!Making appointments at IncentiveWorks can help you maximize your time on the show floor. Weve all been there you arrive at a booth only to find a lineup of people waiting to engage that exhibitor. You usually walk away and come back later hoping they are free.
Appointments give you direct access to exhibitors so your time is well spent.
Booking Appointments is as Easy as 1-2-3:1. Select who you want to meet with from our
comprehensive exhibitors list2. Include a personal note so exhibitors know why
you want to meet with them3. Drop all confirmed appointments into Outlook or
Google Calendar or print a master schedule
You can also allow exhibitors to contact you for an appointment. But dont worry, your contact information is not revealed until you accept their appointment request. Both options allow you to maximize your experience before you even step foot on the show floor!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:How many appointments are there? Length? There are several appointment times per day. They are booked in 15-minute increments.
Is this program mandatory? No, the program is only mandatory for those planners who have an Appointments or VIP Buyers Pass. They have committed to six appointments and are required to fulfill that commitment.
Is there a cost to participate? No. This program is complimentary for both exhibitors and planners/buyers.
When and how do I book my appointments? In early July, all registered attendees will be sent a link to begin making appointments. Through this link, you will have full access to the entire program.
Questions about the Appointments Program? Contact Stephanie Rapko, Event Coordinator
