notify me so a card from the members of the
Detachment can be sent to them, or a phone
call made to check up on them.
From the Helm
Tim Hutchison– Commandant
Hope this article finds the Marines and Asso-
ciates of the detachment well and fully engaged in 2016. We
have had a great start to 2016. The first gun show of 2016 was a
huge success, thanks to the support of all of you. I’m hoping that
each gun show is as successful as the one in January. We can al-
ways use your help at the gun shows, so when Jesus calls, please
sign up.
At this time of year, we nominate a new slate of officers for 2016-
2017. If you are interested in this process, our next meeting on
February 11 will be an opportunity for you to nominate a candi-
date of your choosing. Elections will be held in March, with in-
stallation in April. Your presence at our meetings is valuable,
since this is your detachment and your input counts. Hope to see
each of you there.
We have several members and family members who are experi-
encing sickness and health issues. Please keep them in your
thoughts and prayers. Also keep our military members, who are
in harm’s way, in your daily devotion.
If you ever need anything, feel free to contact me or one of my
staff. Marines never leave anyone behind. Or you could call to
see how things are going. That’s about it for now!! Semper Fi!!
