The Alpha course begins on 3rd October with a curry and comedy launch event, and then runs every Wednesday night until December between 7-9.15. This is a great opportunity for those within and outside of the church to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and encouraging environment. We are looking for table leaders, to facilitate discussion; and for help with set up and serving food. If you think this could be you and would like to join the exciting Alpha team then email Jon Swales.

The Leeds Jewish community is once again inviting members of St G's to go on their four day trip to holocaust sites in Poland, including a day at Auschwitz. The dates for the next visit are not finalised yet but the trip is likely to be for four days around the end of October and will cost approximately £750, full board. Seven of us went last year and we would all thoroughly recommend it. It is a valuable trip in its own right and will help to further St G's engagement with the local Jewish community.
