Tuesdays led by the inventor Ted Cheng. I came to know many accomplished people. Ted invented the Spiralmax which benefits any gasoline-powered car. I have Spiralmax installed in my car. It helps to increase the mileage whenever I drive my car. Another inventor is Don King. He was granted a provisional patent on his invention in 10 days!

Actually, Don invented the electronic fund transfer (EFT) in 1981. EFT has affected all people who use credit cards on earth. A patented protocol must be used. That was his invention. Now, his new invention has far more reaching effect. I now quote his write-up as follows:

approximately 37% of the world population does not have electricity. That's about 2.5 billion people. The main reason they don't is because of the tremendous cost to build the infrastructure for power delivery using today's current methods and technology. Infrastructure meaning power poles, power lines, cables, transformers, switching, control equipment, and a lot of other equipment, not to mention power generating facilities. This technology will eliminate the need for all of the infrastructure, except for the power generation facilities. For whatever reason, people's initial impressions of this technology has something to do with power generation. This technology does not generate power at all, and has nothing to do with power generation. This technology is strictly for the wireless, global, delivery of electrical power.

A Patent that Will Affect Every Human on Earth-1 这专利将影响地球上的每一个人 -1 “How it Works (Wireless Energy Distribution System) “Although this is WAY over-simplified, in summary, the WEDS

system receives energy/electricity, converts it to communications frequencies (radio waves), transmits it to the destination receiver, which then converts the radio waves back into usable electricity. The electricity coming from the receiver can then be used anyway you want, the same as is done today.

“In the next page diagram, starting from the lower right hand corner, electricity is supplied from the power company (point A in the diagram) at between 2,000,000 vac and 4,000,000 vac volts. Much the same as today from the primary power source (electric company). Voltages may vary. The power is supplied to an "Energy Conversion Hub" (ECH) (Point B in the diagram), one of the major components of this technology.

Proof of Concept, Prototype, and full patent stages and efforts. It is within the ECH the high voltage electricity will be converted from an electronic force (electricity) to multiple frequency radio waves for transmission to a destination receiver. From the ECH, the converted RF signals are sent to an uplink or crosslink transceiver (transmitter and receiver. The transceiver will transmit the RF signals to either a local (within range) communications tower for retransmission to a local destination receiver, or transmit the RF signals to an Airborne Frequency Router for further routing and transmission(s) to the target destination receiver.

“The airborne Frequency Router (AFR) does not exist either. This portion of the new technology of the WEDS will be developed as a part of the first prototype for the technology.

AFR that is assigned, or covering, the area of the destination receiver. The AFR that receives the RF signals for a destination receiver that is within that AFR's coverage area will retransmit those RF signals down to a communication tower that is within the range of the destination receiver for further processing and transmission to the destination Metered Wireless Receiver (MWR). The AFR's are/will be unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) permanently airborne at a distance of between 9 to 16 miles above the surface of the earth, in the ionosphere. They will be manufactured and deployed as the WEDS is adopted and expanded across the planet. This system architecture facilitates scalability, meaning that it can be built incrementally and it does not require full global implementation in order to work.

existing technologies and some additional new technology to be developed as a part of the WEDS technology. Basically the communications tower(s) are ground based transmission towers, much the same as we have today for television, radio, and cellular transmission towers. There is equipment (transmitters, receivers, frequency converters and other things) at the tower that will receive the UHF (or other frequency as designated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)) RF signals, convert them to Extremely Low Frequency (ELF), or other frequency as designated by the FCC, and then transmit the RF signal(s) to the intended MWR.

changing) technology, there are characteristic stages it goes through. In general, they are: Identification of a need, identify the technology, impact assessment (how would this impact everyone if it existed), theorizing the technology, research, preliminary assessment, more research, system architecture (high level), design, engineering, development, testing, manufacturing, implementation and deployment. Each stage has many efforts. or sub "stages", associated with it. All of the stages precedent to the "development" stage have been done in this technology. As indicated above, we are now in the development stage. For this technology, we have three sub stages.

proliferation of all the critical components around the world. That means AFR's distributed around the planet in the ionosphere, placed about 300 to 600 miles apart, in a matrix pattern, some areas may have more than 1 AFR due to population density of MWR's. This stage will provide electricity throughout the planet. Everyone will have electricity available to them, without the trillions of dollars of capital investment currently required for the necessary infrastructures of physical cables, power grids, power stations, etc. However, this stage will require 10's of billions of dollars in capital investment, around the world, and the cooperation of all governments around the world. The investments will definitely be made as it will reduce the operating overhead of energy supply and delivery by as much as 75% and open up another 37% of potential market share.

prototype of the technology. This will require the re-engineering of an ECH to handle varying amounts of power, from 2 to 4 million volts, the building and deployment of an AFR, substantial modifications for safety issues, and a plethora of other issues. Those "issues" will require approval from (in the US) the FCC, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Energy (DOE), and quite possibly the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Public Utilities Commission (PUCO). All of these agencies are going to take time, and money. However, once approved, it will allow for the incremental building of the WEDS network. Further, once approved in the US, which is usually the most stringent reviewing country on the planet, approval by equivalent international agencies is usually quick and virtually guaranteed.

I have done all the theorizing, research, physics, math formulas, engineering, simulations, modeling, testing thereof, etc., as described in the overall processes. Now is the time to develop a working model that proves the concepts and technology that has been patented. The USPTO has done their initial due diligence, with all the resources of the US government at their disposal, and have given their approval for a provisional (patent pending) patent. The next step is to build a model to show the proof of your patent. This is what requires time and money for materials and other things, which is usually beyond the inventor's capability. That is why I am coming to you to sponsor this most important project and revolutionary technology.

going to prove the technology on a scaled down basis. A working model, if you will, of the technology to be able to take in raw electricity (A/C) from some power source, convert it to RF signals, and transmit those RF signals some distance. At the end of the distance, to have a working model to receive those RF signals, at a receiver, and for the wireless receiver to be able to convert those RF signals back into usable electricity. Just as if the end receiver was hard wired as it is today to be transmitted through power lines and cables from the power company to the end power meter today for delivery to the destination, at a fixed location. This is the initial Proof of Concept (PoC) project that the funds being raised here will be applied.

the scope of the PoC, and the objective will be to engineer a scaled down Energy Converter Hub (ECH) to multiplex and convert approximately 1,320 vac, the equivalent of twelve (12) 110 vac circuits, that would normally traverse power lines, coming into a fixed location, being supplied by the power source, and wirelessly transmitted a distance of approximately 50 miles to the destination. In this fashion the PoC will be simulating all of the key functions and processes that will occur on a continuous basis in the real WEDS network.

the RF signals from the ECH, in the same frequencies as if the tower was receiving the RF signals from an Airborne Frequency Router (AFR). Basically a simulated long distance transmission, over what would be a route that would be taken if the network were in place. At the transmission tower, a high frequency receiver transceiver must be engineered and built, to receive the RF signals from the ECH. Further, one or more frequency converters must be engineered and built to take the received high frequency RF signals and convert them to an Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) for retransmission to the end destination receiver. There are a lot of technical reasons for the preference of ELF for ground based transmissions which are not necessary to be explained here. However, that preference may be rejected by the FCC, and some other frequencies assigned.

must be engineered and built to serve as the destination receiver, as a part of the PoC. There will be 12 MWR's produced for this PoC effort. The reasons for multiple MWR's is to show strict addressability to each MWR, rejection of signals not addressed to an MWR, interference resolution, coexistence for continuous, simultaneous, transmission and reception for each individual MWR, and a lot of other scientific and technical reasons that establish firmly the technology is able to be scaled to a working prototype. Once the RF signals are received by the MWR, they will be converted back into usable 110 vac electricity to be used for any purpose 110 vac is used today to power any object requiring power to function; whether it's a cell phone, refrigerator, car, house, toaster, whatever.

This is because they (FCC) are the governing body for all communications frequencies, for the United States. This is not a major issue for the WEDS system as it has been invented to be flexible across almost all communications frequencies. Actual implementation of the entire global WEDS network is expected to require multiple frequency bandwidths as determined by each country and international standards. The WEDS System Architecture I have patented is a flexible, open system architecture, that has taken those variations into consideration and can accommodate all the necessary spectrums, as it extends around the world.

WEDS technology, an entire project has to be undertaken to build and test the technology, as it doesn't exist, in any form. This technology has never been done to prove its full capability, viability, and potential. As you can imagine, even creating a small, scaled down model is not a small undertaking. Even though the PoC is a small scaled down version of the WEDS system, most of the core functionalities of the massive fully functional system still have to be engineered and built in the PoC. Naturally, the Prototype and Full System(s) will have much more, larger, and more highly complex components, and many more issues to address, but they will still use as a basis the methods and core technologies that results from the successful Proof of Concept Project.

receiving and converting 1,320 volts (vac) to transmit frequencies. Whereas the Prototype and Full System ECH will be receiving and converting 2,000,000 to 4,000,000 volts (vac). Regardless, the core conversion process is going to remain fundamentally the same as what is derived from the ECH built in the PoC Project.

“In order to build, test and verify the WEDS technology in the Proof of Concept described above, requires a myriad of raw materials, equipment, permits, planning, coordination, laboratory and engineering space rental, safety controls, services of other experts, professionals, technicians and contract manufacturers, just to name the categories. This is not an exhaustive list either.

wires of different metal composition (as some different combinations may be tested for effects), electronics and parts, piping, scaffolding, antennas, rubber and other insulating materials (lots of those for safety), will be necessary to construct the components of the ECH, communications tower and MWR. Equipment required includes, but is not limited to, electronic breadboards (circuit designing), oscilloscopes, data scopes, logic analyzers, electronic test and measuring equipment, computer hardware, software, RF transceivers, frequency oscillators, frequency spectrum analyzers, electronic assembly equipment (soldering tools, clips, etc.), RF tuners and other miscellaneous equipment as the needs arise.

include other systems engineers (as I can't be in 3 or more places at once), electronic engineers, metallurgists, electricians, electronic technicians, and others as the need arises. It is hoped that some of the services and supports mentioned above will be donated for this globally important project, but not expected. Therefore, some amounts have been set aside for known service and support providers on a consulting and/or as needed basis. Laboratory and engineering space is not expected to exceed 2,000 square feet, as necessary. Permits are expected to be required, at a minimum, from the FCC for temporary communications license(s) for RF transmission and reception during the development and testing periods. Fees anticipated are projected not to exceed $20,000, however, that is subject to interpretation and/or modification by the FCC.

the Public Utilities Commission(s) (PUC) as this is for short term development and testing and will not be available to the public. Planning, coordination, management and project control will be accomplished by the inventor at no cost to the project.

“As you can surmise, this Proof of Concept Project for the building and testing of the Wireless Energy/Electricity Distribution System technology is substantial, even for a highly scaled down model. But, then again, what would you expect for a technology that will, if successful, change the world as we know it today. More about that later.

Concept Project to create this world, and life changing, technology. The costs have been estimated as close as possible for building and demonstrating the reception of electricity, converting it to RF communications, transmitting it a distance of 50 miles from the origination point, and reconverting it to usable electricity at the destination reception point. The target of $500,000 is actually conservative with limited contingencies planned for. This is not a model, or invention, that you can build in your garage, or at the kitchen table. Also due to the risks and potential hazards involved, it is not recommended you try building this (PoC model) at home. But, when built, tested and demonstrated, the results of the project lay the foundation for construction of the working Prototype for WEDS, and deployment thereafter, around the world.

accomplish the PoC Project for a successful wireless transmission of about 50 miles. Further than that will require additional equipment to be built, such as RF signal amplifiers and repeaters. If the goal of $500,000 is reached, the funds raised will be used for that objective, on the resources identified above.

“If the goal of $500,000 is exceeded, the additional funds will be used to prepare the additional three (3) patents, and file them with the USPTO, for the other WEDS components of the ECH, AFR, and MWR. Because these components, with slight modifications, which are primarily design issues and not necessarily patentable, can serve other purposes and applications, independently, on a stand alone basis, they must be patented separately, pursuant to US Patent law.

airborne hub for Internet services. If the above goal is exceeded by a significant amount of approximately more than $100,000, the extra funds will be used to begin work on the working Prototype stage, as previously described. The excess will also be used to start the funding efforts for the Prototype stage and beyond. It is anticipated that the Prototype stage and beyond will be funded and structured as investment(s). The reasons for that are the amount of capital required for a working Prototype (estimated to be at least $10,000,000+), reduction to practice of the technology, and initial commercial operation of the technology.

“If the goal of $500,000 is not met, the PoC Project will be scaled back in scope. Such as less distant RF transmission(s), fewer MWR's, less proof of interference resolution, coexistence, individual addressability of the MWR's, and potentially other factors limiting the scope of the Proof of Concept.

power was out? Your entire city and state, and neighboring states, the power was out? No water was being pumped, no electricity, no heat, air conditioning, lights, nothing. It could happen. I just reread an article on CNN where the head of the National Security Agency (NSA), Adm. Michael Rogers, told a Congressional panel on 11/20/2014 that they (NSA) have already found malware (malicious software) from China and Russia can do exactly that, by shutting down the US power grids. Reason being the power grids are a centralized point of electricity distribution for the country. If WEDS were implemented, that couldn't happen to such large areas.

electricity? Not having gone to school because there were no facilities/schools, because there was no electricity? How about not having any clean drinking water, getting diseases, parasites, worms, and other things from the drinking water because there are no water treatment plants? Reason there are no water treatment plants was primarily because there is no electricity to power or run them. That's the situation in many areas of Africa right now. High level philanthropists such as Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, and others have been trying to help, but, the cost of the infrastructures necessary are just too much for even them collectively to handle. If the WEDS technology was implemented, the expensive infrastructures to bring electricity to all these areas would be minimized. They wouldn't even need to build nearby power generation plants, if they wanted. They could extend the range and capacity of existing ones and deliver electricity to these areas.

Yahoo! want to supply Internet to areas of the world that do not have it, or the facilities to deliver. They are experimenting with different technologies to deliver Internet hubs, airborne in some fashion, to these areas. I'm not sure if they have considered the fact that Internet delivery won't do any good for areas that don't have electricity to power their computers, phones, or other devices. The WEDS technology can take care of both problems, electricity and Internet service.

“Have you admired people that have been written about in history as being responsible for facilitating world changing events, like Eli Whitney (cooton gin), Morse (telegraph), Edison (lightbulb), Bell (phone), Ford (car), Nikola Tesla (alternating current and radio), and many others that fostered the Industrial Revolution? Or maybe more recently, Dr. Watson (IBM) for the beginning of the computer revolution.

new revolution. I'm calling it the "Wireless Revolution". Electricity is obviously cleaner than other usable forms of energy such as gas, natural and refined, coal, oil, or any other direct form of energy. All the other forms of energy are transportable and can quickly be refilled. Electricity is stuck to a specific path. It's also transportable. Like the other fuels/energy, electricity is consumed to limits of it's storage capacity and needs to be refilled. But is nowhere close to comparing it's refill time to the others.

“If electricity becomes wireless, it has no limits on it's storage or refill time, for there may never be a refill time, as there can be a continuous charge. Electricity is much cheaper to produce in bulk than the other forms of energy. Particularly if it is by nuclear power generation.

about 75% of their delivery costs over current methods. Everyone will go to wireless electricity, if this technology proves to be true. Which I obviously feel confident that it will. Many sub-sub components have independently been tested in other applications. This was theorized, researched, and did a couple of PoC tests on the transmission theory almost 100 years ago, by Scientist Nikola Tesla. However, the distance was about 1 mile (stories differ), the earth was used as a conductor, the voltage required blacked out a nearby town, and nothing was ever transmitted over the air except for a very short distance of 10 to 15 feet. That was actually accomplished through magnetic induction, as MIT scientists have found, not transmission over air.

In order of priority, they are listed below, with actions to mitigate risk.

“1) Safety: This project is full of deadly dangers. The wrong move, the wrong calculation or miscalculation, can mean person(s) lives. Safety is the #1 priority. The project will not compromise, or cut corners, in any fashion to insure the safety of the project team, but the public, first and foremost.

“2) Political Opposition: Power grid operators and stakeholders are not going to be enthusiastic about this technology being successful. It is anticipated there could be some political opposition particularly in the area of permits and licenses. To mitigate the potential, at this early stage, the project will be kept as low key as possible, and will be listed as only for experimental purposes.

stakeholders, the oil companies, and electrical workers unions won't be thrilled to see this disruptive technology either.
