Action Verb and Present Tense

～ます　 to describe actions～ます　 to describe non-past actions, including

present and future

テレビを　みます。ときどき　あさごはんを　たべません。あした　きょうとに　いきます。きょう、うちに　かえりません。

Basic Format forparticles and verbs

Place of Action で Direct Object 　を Time に VERB (Action verb)。

例：アイスクリームショップでアイスクリームを５じにたべます。

Time に Destination に Destination Verb 　（いく、くる、かえる）。

例：５じにアイスクリームショップにいきます。

Three functions of に

1 ． Time９じにおきます。

2 ． Destination goalがっこうにいきます。

漢字The jōyō kanji ( 常用漢字 ) are the 2,136 kanji

characters issued by the Japanese Ministry of Education on November 30, 2010. This is a modified version of the 1981 list that only contained 1945 characters. The 1981 was a slightly modified version of the tōyō kanji, which was the initial list of secondary school-level kanji standardized after World War II.

The 2,136 kanji in the jōyō kanji consist of:1,006 kanji taught in primary school (these are known as the kyoiku kanji) 1130 more kanji taught in secondary school
