Surah at-Taghaabun (The Mutual Disillusion)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful


ف�ي و)م)ا م)او)ات� الس� ف�ي م)ا �ه� �ل ل .ح, ب ,س) يو)ه,و) ال ح)م د, )ه, و)ل ال م,ل ك, )ه, ل ر ض�

( األ ق)د�ير9 ي ء; ش) ,ل. ك ع)ل)ى

[64:1] Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah; to Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him is due (all)

praise, and He has power over all things.


و)م�نك,م )اف�ر9 ك ,م ف)م�نك ,م )ق)ك ل خ) �ذ�ي ال ه,و))ص�ير9 ب )ع م)ل,ون) ت �م)ا ب �ه, و)الل مMؤ م�ن9

[64:2] He it is Who created you, but one of you is an unbeliever and another of you is a believer;

and Allah sees what you do.

)ي ه� �ل و)إ ,م ك ص,و)ر) ح س)ن)( ف)أ ,م ك و)ص)و�ر)

ال م)ص�ير,

[64:3] He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He formed you, then made goodly your

forms, and to Him is the ultimate resort.

�ه, و)الل ,ون) �ن ,ع ل ت و)م)ا ون) Mر ,س� ت م)ا )م, )ع ل و)يالصMد,ور� �ذ)ات� ب �يم9 ع)ل

[64:4] He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you hide and what you manifest; and Allah is Cognizant of what is in the

hearts.

( أ )ال) و)ب ف)ذ)اق,وا

[64:5] Has there not come to you the story of those who disbelieved before, then tasted the evil result of their conduct, and they had a painful punishment?

( �أ ب �ك) ذ)ل)ا )ن )ه د,ون ي ر9 )ش) )ب أ ,وا ف)ق)ال )ات� .ن )ي �ال ب ب

�ه, و)الل �ه, الل )ى )غ ن ت و�اس �وا )و)ل و)ت وا )ف)ر, ف)كح)م�يد9 �ي غ)ن

[64:6] That is because there came to them their messengers with clear arguments, but they said: Shall mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and

turned back, and Allah does not stand in need (of anything), and Allah is Self-sufficient, Praised.

ير9 )س� ي �ه� الل ع)ل)ى �ك) و)ذ)ل ,م ع)م�ل ت

[64:7] Those who disbelieve think that they shall never be raised. Say: Aye! by my Lord! you shall

most certainly be raised, then you shall most certainly be informed of what you did; and that is

easy to Allah.


�ذ�ي ال Mور� و)الن �ه� ول س, و)ر) �ه� �الل ب ,وا ف)آم�ن�ير9 ب خ) )ع م)ل,ون) ت �م)ا ب �ه, و)الل )ا ل ن )نز) أ

[64:8] Therefore believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Light which We have

revealed; and Allah is Aware of what you do.


)و م, ي �ك) ذ)ل ال ج)م ع� � )و م �ي ل ,م )ج م)ع,ك ي )و م) ي�حhا ص)ال )ع م)ل و)ي �ه� �الل ب ,ؤ م�ن ي و)م)ن ,ن� �غ)اب الت)ج ر�ي ت �ات; ن ج) ل ه, ,د خ� و)ي �ه� )ات .ئ ي س) ع)ن ه, )ف.ر ,ك ي�ك) ذ)ل )دhا )ب أ ف�يه)ا �د�ين) ال خ) ن ه)ار,

( األ �ه)ا ت )ح ت م�نال ع)ظ�يم, ال ف)و ز,

[64:9] On the day that He will gather you for the day of gathering, that is the day of loss and gain; and whoever believes in Allah and does good, He will remove from

him his evil and cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever; that is the

great achievement.


�ك) )ئ و ل, أ )ا �ن )ات �آي ب ,وا )ذ�ب و)ك وا )ف)ر, ك �ذ�ين) و)ال

�ئ س) و)ب ف�يه)ا �د�ين) ال خ) �ار� الن ص ح)اب,( أ

ال م)ص�ير,

[64:10] And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, they are the inmates of the fire, to abide therein and evil is the resort.


و)م)ن �ه� الل �ذ ن� �إ ب �ال� إ )ة; مMص�يب م�ن ص)اب)( أ م)ا

ء; ي ش) ,ل. �ك ب �ه, و)الل )ه, ق)ل ب )ه د� ي �ه� �الل ب ,ؤ م�ن ي�يم9 ع)ل

[64:11] No affliction comes about but by Allah's permission; and whoever believes in Allah, He

guides aright his heart; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.

[64:12] And obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn back, then upon Our Messenger

devolves only the clear delivery (of the message).


�ل� )و)ك )ت ف)ل ي �ه� الل و)ع)ل)ى ه,و) �ال� إ )ه) �ل إ ال) �ه, الل,ون) ال م,ؤ م�ن

[64:13] Allah, there is no god but He; and upon Allah, then, let the believers rely.


,م و)اج�ك )ز أ م�ن �ن� إ ,وا آم)ن �ذ�ين) ال Mه)ا ي( أ )ا ي

�ن و)إ وه,م ف)اح ذ)ر, ,م �ك ل ع)د,وtا ,م د�ك و ال)( و)أ

�ه) الل �ن� ف)إ وا )غ ف�ر, و)ت )ص ف)ح,وا و)ت )ع ف,وا تح�يم9 ر� غ)ف,ور9

[64:14] O you who believe! surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them; and if you pardon and

forbear and forgive, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.


�ه, و)الل )ة9 ف�ت ن ,م د,ك و ال)( و)أ ,م ,ك م و)ال

( أ �م)ا �ن إع)ظ�يم9 )ج ر9 أ ع�ند)ه,

[64:15] Your possessions and your children are only a trial, and Allah it is with Whom is a great

reward.

[64:16] Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend,

it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are

the successful.

[64:17] If you set apart for Allah a goodly portion, He will double it for you and forgive you; and

Allah is the Multiplier (of rewards), Forbearing,


ال ع)ز�يز, ه)اد)ة� و)الش� ال غ)ي ب� �م, ع)ال ال ح)ك�يم,

[64:18] The Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise.
