Abstract Roots blower is important industrial equipment,
which is widely applied in the industry domain for each kind of fluid transfer. The impeller is the most essential part of Roots blower, and its design, manufacture and quality will affect the operating performance of Roots blower directly. The design of blade rotors profiles will directly affect the performance of Roots blower. It is very important to design and define rotor's profile in the design of Roots blower. Roots blower impellers have three blade profiles, which are circular profiles, involute profiles and cycloid profiles. This plan firstly analyzes and researches the equation of the three blade profiles, and select radial distances and axial distance ratios. Theoretically analysis will be made through the calculation of area utilization factors.
The paper will analyze and design the roots blower with two-blade circular impeller, and will use the technology of dynamic meshing and the theoretical analysis to set up roots blower with two-blade circular impeller of profile equations. Using dynamic graphical simulation technology, the parametric design flow of impeller is established.
