Accreditation: As of November 2016, the PMI Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC) has accredited 110 degree programs at 57 institutions in 17 countries.

Standards: 2016 saw the publication of three

standards, Governance of Portfolios, Programs, and Projects: A Practice Guide; the Construction Extension to the PMBOK® Guide; and the Project Manager Competency Development Framework – Third Edition.
