Target investors represent a wide range of investors who are focusing on a range of diversified products and a variety of investment types and business sectors:
Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds and Fund of Funds with notable track records and solid performance, unique investment strategy and salient features, and sufficient transparency
Distressed Assets Direct Investments and Funds (real estate, etc.) Resource Assets (including oil, gas, and energy, mining, water, agro, etc.) High-Tech Investments (especially green technologies and projects)
Investment size: Ranges from USD$50mm to USD$1billion and above, dependant on nature and policies of target investor organization
Can come in as either simple LPs, or GP+LPs, or managed accounts, or in co-investment (some with and some without carried interest; often as an initial test)
Investment Terms: Normally 3-5 years; 5-7 years; and above in strategic situations
Target Returns: Normally high teens to low twenties, & above in good market times

Regular Service Fees or Monthly Retainers:– with a minimum lock-up period; normally a one year period with 4-6 road shows is standard for developing relations with GCC sources of capital prior to expectation of a RFP or opening and closing of subscription period for the checks being issued. (Future Trends only caters to selective and committed Clients with cultural sensitivities and reasonable expectations)
Success Fees: – a percentage of the final amount of capital raised and/or equity stake or carried interest, depending on nature of involvement and mutual expectation.
Road Show Travel Expenses:– not to exceed a pre-agreed upon amount (client will be asked to attend a minimum of two road shows over a one year period)
