The manuscript authored by Della-Ferra, Buonomo and Baile (Volume 3, Number 3, 165-176, 1986) incorrectly referenced the concentrations of GRF used by Drs. Enright, Olsen, Moseley, Chapin, Zinn and Tucker (J. Dairy Sci., 67:(Suppl. 1) 161, 1984). The doses of GRF used in lactating cows in the study by Dr. Enright and colleagues were incorrectly stated as being 1, 2 or 4 lug/kg, when in fact, the doses used in that study were 0.1, 0.2 or 0.4 IJg/kg. When expressed on a molar basis, the doses used in both studies were similar. The authors regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
