INTRODUCTION These are the drug delivery systems

which fastly disintegrate in mouth with H2O.

It was first developed in 1970’s alternative to tablets & capsules.

It consists of very thin oral strip which is placed on tongue & upon hydration it fastly releases drug into oral cavity.
