Our students

•have unsuccessful experiences of mainstream education •have different kinds of documented learning difficulties and/or social problems •have a clear desire to enter the labor market through hands-on education•are 17 – 25 years old

Second Chance School structure & funding

• SCS for students 17-20 years of age is part of the Individual Programme in upper secondary school in Sweden. About 40 students/year

Funded within the regular budget of the national and municipal educational system

• SCS students 20-24 years of age have been long-term unemployed and have left school without a leaving certificate. Most of them live on social welfare benefits. About 30 students/year

Funded within the municipal budget for labor market programmes
