Background

Announcement of launch of T3 programme by MOS

Sam Tan on 27 July 2016:

• Main objective is “to help trainers stay current

and relevant in their knowledge and skills to

conduct training effectively”

• Participation of ALL WSH TRAINERS conducting

courses in:

(i) MOM Accredited Training Providers (ATP);

(ii) Learning Service Providers (LSP) certified to

ISO 29990:2010;

(iii) WSQ Approved Training Organisations (ATO)

What is T3 Programme?

• T3 = Train-The-Trainer

• Maintains currency and relevance of

trainers’ industry knowledge and

training delivery skills

• Focuses on Knowledge, Skills and

Attitudes

T3 Programme Requirements

Completion of minimum 10 hours of Continuing

Professional Development (CPD) activities

annually (2016: prorate to 3 hours):

• CPD activities include courses, seminars,

workshops;

• Trainers should attend Code of Ethics Workshop by

31 Dec 2017;

• Collaborating partners include SISO, IAL and

UniSIM

• Failure to comply with the requirements may lead to

suspension of status of Training Providers and/or

Trainers
