Originated from a place called “Nunuk Ragang”

Location : Tampias where the rivers, Liwagu, Takashaw and Gelibang meet to the east of Ranau and Tambunan

Nunuk is a Dusun word for “Bayan Tree”

Ragang comes from the word “Aragang” which means RED

measured 6 outstretched arms in circumference

• Means , cook without using heat

• Ingredients :• Fresh fish , seed of ‘Bambangan’ fruit , red

chili , ginger , red onion

‘Tuhau’

• How to make it :mash the tuhau or cut it into small pieces

Ingredients :Vinegar/lime, chili , salt

• Tuhau

Bosou

• How its made :• Store in the container for two week or more

• Ingredients :• Fish/prawn/meat , rice , salt , chili

Butod

• Eat as a ‘pusas’ while drinking tapai• Could be eaten without cooked
