Ingredients: 50ml/2oz Hennessy Fine de Cognac 12ml La Clandestine Absinthe 5 dashes Peychaud’s bitters 1 white sugar cube Lemon twist to garnish

Method: Fill glass with crushed ice and absinthe and stir. In a separate glass crush the sugar cube with the bitters until dissolved, then add Cognac and cubed ice and stir for 30 seconds. Throw away contents of absinthe glass and all ice fragments. Strain mixture into absinthe-washed glass and garnish with lemon twist.

GET LUCKYDeath & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails

Ingredients: 2 ounces Flor de Caña extra-dry white rum 3 blackberries ¾ ounce lemon juice ¼ ounce ginger syrup ¼ ounce orgeat ¼ ounce acacia honey syrup Garnish: House Peychaud’s bitters

Method: In a pilsner glass, gently muddle the blackberries. Fill the glass with crushed ice. In a shaker, whip the remaining ingredients, shaking with a few pieces of crushed ice just until incorporated. Strain into the glass. Garnish with a thin layer of bitters and serve with a straw.
