PART - A
The plan of action chalked out by the IQAC in the beginning of the
year 2010-2011towards quality enhancement.
The IQAC of institution decided the following plan of action for the
academic year 2011 – 2012.
1. To complete the construction of the ‘Women’s hostel’ and class rooms.
2. To utilize UGC grants for the purpose UGC allocated.
3. To apply for Additional grants to UGC.
4. To apply for research projects to UGC
5. To submit proposals to UGC for assistance to National Conferences &
Seminars.
6. To promote research activities, consultancy and extension services.
7. To conduct 33rd
Marathwada Regional Sahitya Sammelan.
8. To provide placement services to students through campus interviews.
9. To organize State level Science Talent Search Examination (STSE-2012).
10. To conduct State level Anandrao Dhonde Oratory competition.

Achievements during the year 2011-2012
1. Activities reflecting goals and objectives of the institution:-
For achieving goals and objectives of our institution we have implemented and
organized various programmes.
Agricultural Day was organized on 1st Jul. 2011.
On 30th
July, 2011 College Campus Cleaning Camp was organized by NSS
Under NSS, Red Ribbon club, Disaster management cell and tourism club were
founded.
Oratory competition on „ Bhartiya Lokshahitil Rajkiya Swerachar‟ & Stri Bhrun
Hatya: Ek Jwalant Samsya‟ was organized for college students on 3rd
Aug. 2010.
On 5th
Aug. 2011 Blood Donation camp was organized on the occasion of birth-
day of our college president Hon. Bhimraoji Dhonde, 66 volunteers donated blood.
Tree plantation programme was organized by NSS volunteers for awareness of
Environment on 15th
Aug.2011.
On 2nd
Sept. 2011 Literacy Day was celebrated.
On 5th
Sept. 2011 Teachers day was celebrated.
A rally was arranged for to stopping „female fetus killing’ by NSS volunteers on

Sept.2011 ‘Awareness about Hygiene’ Camp was organized under the
guidance of Rameshwar Chilwant.
Debate competition on „ Janlokpal Vidheyak‟ was organized on 27th

college students.
Prof. Ajit Ethape & Shri Ranjit Chavan, Ashti delivered lecture on Right to
Information on the occasion of ‘Right to information Day’ on 28th
Sept. 2011.
On 10th
Oct. 2011 NSS Cleaning Camp organized by NSS Volunteers in the
premises of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Statue in Kada town.
National Integrity Day was celebrated on 29th

NSS unit organized camp‟ Youth for Environmental Conservation’ at Dongargan
dist. Beed during the period of 27th
Dec. 2011 to 2nd
Jan. 2012. 125 volunteers
participated in camps. Campus cleaning, plantation, road construction etc works
were done.
Medical officer Dr. Nagsen Lokhande and Dr. Smita Galande delivered lecture on
Awareness of AIDS on the occasion of Worlds AIDS Day (1st Dec. 2012).
Shri. Satish Tambat, Institute of Competitive Exam, Aurangabad delivered lecture
on National Eligibility Test on 4th
Dec. 2011.
Drama Training Camp was organized under the guidance of Waman Kendre, on
17th
Dec.2011.
0n 23 rd Dec.2011 a Rally was arranged for to curb malpractices in examinations.
Before the rally Dr.Kalyanrao Laghane, Dr. Kailas Pathrikar and Dr. Dilip
Mahalinge guided about bad impacts of malpractices.
On 10th
Jan. 2012 „Kavya Gayan’ Competition was arranged.
On occasion of Saint Gadgebaba death anniversary a cleaning camp was organized
in the premises of Madan Mahraj Sansthan ,Kada on 20th
Dec. 2012.
Til- gul progrsamme was arranged on the occasion of Maker Sankranti on 16th
Jan. 2012
Voters day was celebrated on 25th

Marathwad Sahitya Sammelan was carried out on 7th

Jan.2012 in the college.
Campus interviews of „Lupin Company Ltd. , Tarapore, MIDC area Mumbai‟ was
arranged for placement of students in Beed district on 15th
Feb. 2012.
On 16th
Jan. 2012 Geography day was celebrated for awareness about destruction
of earth environment.
Anandrao Dhone State level oratory competition was organized on 31st Dec. 2011
for graduate and post graduate level students.
National Science Day was celebrated on 28th
Feb. 2012.
On 8th
Mar. 2012 „ World Women Day’ was celebrated for Empowerment of
women‟s.
World’s Health day was celebrated on 8th
Apr. 2012
Apart from the above programmes we celebrate ’Republic day’, ‘Independence
day’, Maharashtra Day, ‘Hyderabad Mukti -Sangram day’ University
foundation day’ like national festivals, other festivals of different religions, „Birth
and Death Anniversaries of great personalities, etc were organized in the College.
2. New academic programmes initiated :-
Under the Career Oriented programme (COP) UGC New Delhi and Dept. of
Commerce introduced E – Commerce Course for all faculty students of the college.
3. Innovation in curricular design and transaction:-
Remedial coaching classes for SC, ST. NT, OBC and Minority Students.
Coaching classes for entry in services for SC, ST. NT, OBC and Minority Students.
These two co-curricular programmes aided by UGC already started from previous year.

5. Examination reforms implemented:
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada university introduced semester system for
third year of graduation courses that we adopted.
For the preparation of annual examination we are conducting tests, tutorials ,
seminars, group discussions and terminal examination in academic year.
Local vigilance squad was formed to check the malpractices of the students during
terminal and annual examinations.

The faculty members were encouraged for research work by providing various

Internet facility is already available in college which is provided to staff.
Teachers and staff are promoted to learn different courses in computer.
30. Financial Aids for students :-
Financial aids are provided to the students in the form of different scholarships like
GOI , Merit scholarship, PTC, STC, EBC, FF, Ex- service Man Scholarship, and
handicap concession.
Under „ Earn and Learn scheme‟ 20 students were enrolled. They were paid 10/-
rupees per hour towards remuneration.
The book bank facility was provided to poor students.
Track-suits were given to meritorious sportspersons.

The members of parent teacher association organized student-parent –teachers
gathering. They supported in community services extended by NSS, extension service
and cultural programmes.

First aid facility is available. Consulting physicians visits once a month. They can be

Volley Ball and Kabaddi intercollegiate tournaments were organized during this
academic year.
Team of Kabaddi stood Second in Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad.
Shingade Bhimrao Sopan participated in Interuniversity (National level) Kabaddi
tournaments held at I.U. T. Barkatulla University, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
35. Incentives to outstanding sport persons –
The outstanding spots persons were felicitated and honored by giving Track Suits,
Blazers, Certificates, in college annual gathering. Sportsman‟s are given concession
in fees. They are also provided with special coaching.

competition for physically changed students held at New Delhi in March 2012.

1. The institution has started construction of four new class rooms and Women‟s
Hostel Building.
2. The proposals have been prepared and submitted to U.G.C. for Indoor sports facility,
sports equipment and cricket pitch with six lanes of running track.
3. 23 Research papers were published and presented in International, national Journals,
conferences and seminars by various faculty members during this year.
4. Two faculty members recruited.
5. Campus interview of „Lupin Company Ltd., Tarapore, Mumbai was arranged for
student placement.
