My graduation project targeted boosting Saudis economy by creating an international gateway to engage tourism to the country. This project sets economic, social, cultural, and international sustainable aims for elevating Saudi Arabia. The site is located in Obhor, North of Jeddah, within Al Waleed Bin Talal Kingdom City Masterplan Development. The main concept came from taking the main vertical access of Kingdom Tower and make it the dominant source of creating this international gateway.

The terminal cruise mainly aims to make the city an international developed touristic point of attraction, by attracting foreigners to come and experience the citys hidden touristic potentials. The cruise terminal will be a stop point for foreigners travelling by sea, which will allow the world to view Saudi Arabia differently and from another perspective.

& Rehabilitation Resort

This project targeted creating a medical center in additions to the after healing rehabilitation resort. The site is located in North Obhour, Jeddah. The concept was derived from the transmittance of pain to cure through the loop of faith that humans hold to as a motive for survival. The hospitals masses are somehow straight and enclosed, which reflects the idea of pain and illness. The next stage which is the inpatien rooms is the beggining of the healing phase connected with the rehabilitation center. The curvy resort that is exposed to the sea is the last stage which reveals cure as only strong people who holds to life reach.

Marketing Center

This project is basically a Marketing Research Center, where the site is located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It is in the center of a huge under construction planning area. The site dimensions are approximately 140 m X 75 m. This building basically includes a library, offices, media center, exhibitions, and activity halls. The task was to create an innovation research center that inspires its users and motivates them to produce great results.

Each student was assigned to use the approach of biomimicry to develop the conceptual phase. My natural biomimicry inspiration is derived from the human brain. The purpose of choosing it is because the brain is the basic organ which is responsible for creating and giving commands to other organs in the human body. However, the main source of innovative ideas, creations, and magnificent projects and research are initiated by the human brain. I studied the parts and anatomy of the brain in order to implement it in my design.

This project is a neighborhood park landscaping , where the site is approximately 150m X 300m. My concept is based on creating a healthy neighborhood environment, where social interactions between people occur. The curvy lines indicates movement and liveliness. I based my idea by dividing the park into two zones, noisy area and quite area. The noisy area contains active social collaboration zones, such as the festival arena, basketball and tennis court. The quite area contains zones that require relaxation and less noise, such as the picnic, sitting, and reading zones. The path way is divided in to two parts, pedestrian and cycle path way. I used Arabian vegetation, such as palm trees, to reflect the Saudi culture.

The project aims to upgrade Bani Malek district (a poor quality district) in Jeddah. The main objectives that must be fulfilled:1- Enhance the socio-economic conditions2- Reduce the absence of key public services; such as schools, hospitals, parks, and safety services.3- Improve the road network and increase the pedestrian path ways through creating open and public spaces. 4- Improve addressed pavement, street lighting, parking lots, green areas, public services, streetscape, planting, and urban gates.

This project is a group work project of five students, in which tasks are divided equally between team members.

The project is a 30m X 40m mixed-use high-rise tower. It consists of a two story podium, a 29 story office tower, and a 43 story residential tower. My concept was to satisfy the users needs and to provide them with all facilities that best serve them. Separating both towers with a large facility area connection, where this facility area is the space that included all the facilities such as spas, minimarket, gym, library, event halls, and kids area. The facility area is the core of my design, which fulfills all users needs for their comfort and satisfaction.The ins and outs are part of the concept that functions as outdoor terraces for users.

Studio 3Public Library

This studio was assigned for designing King Faisal Public Library project. A public library is a place that is accessible by the public, where social interactions between people take place. The project passed by several phases in its development from brainstorming and conceptual design to a fully developed public library. The selected site was in Madinah Road next to King Faisal Palace in Al-Aziziah Region. The public librarys site is about 30 m X 40m, which consists of a three story building with a basement parking. The main program consisted of large reading areas, closed and open book stacks, kids area, restaurant, catalogue hall, administration offices, and services.The projects aim is to transform the public library into an active and vibrant innovation engines that impact their environment. Develop skills to design Inter-related, multi-function Spaces in an organized order creating a community Living that addresses the city around.
