A dual band hand-held radio with Maritime VHF channels will give the operator the advantage of combining two radios in one, reducing the number of radios external crew members need to carry and thus increase safety and comfort through reduced complexity and weight.

Operational modesThe system provides four operational modes:

ForDualbandunitsallmodesareavailablewhenusingVHForUHFbands.
RuggedizedThePolyconchassisismilledfromonepieceofseawaterresistantaluminumalloy.Siliconesealsaregluedforreliablewaterproofingandavalvesystemcompensatesforchangesincabinpressureduetoaltitude.Thecompanyoffersa2yearlimitedwarranty*periodextendableupto10yearswhenparticipatinginourmaintenanceprogram.Usermaintenanceislimitedtobatterychargingandrinsingtransceiversunderthetapafterexposingtoseawater.
* Warranty limitations are misuse, including - damage caused by sharp objects or brute force strong enough to penetrate the housing, breaking off or removing antenna, terminals and display window, or water ingression due to operating the pressure equalization system while unit is wet.
