DESCRIPTION
In the tendency towards digital literacy we can not ignore the media literacy of active learner. With the power of ICT and modern mobile devices pupils could entering the school library in his home bed , on holiday … in short, anywhere via school library blog. By properly planned blogging, school library is teaching outside phisical walls and library shelves. Competence of media literacy, as all the competencies, adopts gradually until a student does not develop the ability of critical evaluation of the various media contents. Through the blog of the school library we can be closer to the students and ICT as a learning environment that exceeds the space GAMES and peer conversations (mostly yes/no; like/dislike). The authors represent two different weblogs of school libraries, each in its own way to deepen students' ICT skills and to enable media literacy supportive environment. In the case of the OŠ Litija school library blog is presented in extracurricular activities of young librarians who have created innovative in predictor of books abroad is recognized as the Book Trail . In the school library of elementary school at Radeče, there are plenty activities, but here is represented debating club. Pupils attend debate tournaments several times a year, so they are preparing them to explore a wide variety of information sources - the media. Through the blog of the school library of their interest, achievements and dilemmas, students have ability to inform the wider community. With the contribution of the authors wish to emphasize the importance of school libraries in the digital age and to draw attention to long ago exceeded the physical space of the school library, which should become a successful virtual learning environment – respectively teaching tool.TRANSCRIPT
