An SAP BO Lead cum technical architect with about 9 years of DWH/BI/Informatica//SAP implementation and maintenance experience. Led 2 projects as BI technical lead in past with teams of 4-6 people, reporting to client and company leadership. Implemented Business transforming functionalities for US ranked 1 Product Quality assurance group Intertek and for US ranked 1 Pharmaceutical company viz. Pfizer. Designed and developed business benefiting complex reporting functionalities for UK ranked 1 Investment Bank viz. J P Morgan Chase and reporting capabilities using Crystal and Webi. Designed and developed Universe and Webi reports for the following banks under Proponix 360 - International Trade Finance product - ANZ, BMO, UBOC. Presented a demo for Accenture at International event SAP TechED 2012, Bangalore. From Sep 2013 till Mar 2014, I work for UBS from Zurich, Switzerland client location and performed the business system analysis/Business Analyst for existing Wealth Management End User Applications to be migrated to existing Credit Risk Application/Data warehouse.

From Jul 2014 till May 2015, I work for IB for Credit Risk division as Business Analyst, Data Analyst and implemented enhanced BO Universe and developed reporting capabilities for Investment Banking from UBS London and supported the Stress calculator for each counterparty by predicting the EL and Exposure in case of default. We maintained regulatory reports for Credit Risk division in case of Defaulters and recovery details for counterparties across geography. Enhanced the existing reports as per Regulatory reforms for Swiss FINMA and US regulatory reports.

Currently working for UBS Singapore from Jun 2015 till current date for Risk Technology Program Delivery and Regulatory driven change within Capital Markets, Credit Risk Control, Counterparty Risk Management, Credit Risk Portfolio and Regulatory Reporting, Basel II & III compliance maintenance of the BO universe capabilities for Wealth Management US reporting including key regulatory changes based on the regions for each counterparty under a given Business Unit, as per US regulatory requirements.

Description

This role is to be performed from Client location in Singapore. The aim of this project is to understand and analyze the US regulatory requirements for reporting the Credit Risk exposure belonging to counterparties for Investment Banking divisions across geography and implement these changes in existing system on SAP BO XI R 3.1 Universe and accordingly amend 240 reports. Analyze Credit Risk Control and amend as per regulatory requirements, Counterparty Risk Management, Credit Risk Portfolio and Regulatory Reporting and defaulters reporting are key responsibilities.Along with this, there is need to design and develop the new regulatory reporting system for Wealth Management US, for which I prepared the High level designs and prototypes for new reports.

Responsibilities

I am working as a System Analyst to understand key regulatory requirements, design, new reporting system, their prototype and implement the same across in Universe and reports in BO and responsibilities includes as follows:

Analyze existing Business Exposures, ELs associated with counterparties, respective trades and based on the region.

Gather the attributes from the reporting system and analyze the need as per new regulatory requirements.

Create high level prototypes for new regulatory reports, map the key measures based on their strategy to be designed and move on with calculations involved.

Create design document for the reports to be developed on Webi. Design the existing Universe to accommodate these new objects and resolving

loops and traps. To help team mates in the issues faced during analysis.

Description

This role was performed from Client location at Zurich, Switzerland. The aim of this project was to understand the existing Legacy system of Investment Bank, UHNW and other sources and to analyze existing Legacy reports and design integration with the latest existing system on SAP BO XI R 3.1. After analysis, designed and developed reports on Business Objects XI R3.1. In total there were about 8 DBs/systems analyzed.I work as a System Analyst to investigate the legacy system for migration into SAP BO

Description

There was a need to develop reports on Enterprise Data Warehouse and use BO XI R3.1 repository using Webi capabilities. The ETL was performed using Microsoft SSIS 2008. The source data were on Oracle 10g and SQL server 2008. Other than this additionally, the Cognos administration part needed to be taken care by the team.

Proponix 360 is an integrated Trade Finance Product, enables banks (and their customers) to perform both front and back-office transaction processing. This service includes access to a trade portal, workflow and imaging, a back-office trade processing system, and a reporting system.With the emerging enhancement it had Supply Chain Finance capabilities, including Purchase Order / Invoice Data Management, bank-assisted Open Account, Open Account payment, Export / Seller Finance and buyer-side finance. These solutions provide trade banks with the ability to employ SCF strategies that both improve the performance of their customers' financial supply chain and enhance their relationships with key bank customers.

Responsibilities

I worked as a member of BI team in Proponix Development team. The development part is performed using Business Objects and responsibilities includes as follows:

Creating reports as per client’s requirement. Developing Business Objects Universe based on the reporting requirements of the

end users. Working with onsite counterparts in understanding the client requirements and

development of Universe as per functional design specifications of the new requirement.

Coding from the technical/functional design and requirement artifacts and follow the defined coding standards along with self review of code.
