凯洛酒庄

凯洛(Caro)酒庄位于阿根廷葡萄酒的重要产区门多萨(Mendoza)的心脏地带。凯洛代表了两个家族、两类文化、两种葡萄、唯一的酒。1998年,拉菲罗斯柴

尔德集团与阿根廷的卡氏(Catena)家族产生了一个美妙的想法:将门多萨的高纬度土地上栽种的马尔贝克葡萄与赤霞珠结合,酿出一支风味独具的美酒。

第一支凯洛由2000年收成的葡萄酿制,其产量极小,于2002年投放市场,两个家族所期望打造出的那种独特气质在酒中已初现端倪。由于2000、2001与

2002年份的三支“凯洛”皆获成功,拉菲罗斯柴尔德集团与凯洛酒庄决定再创制一款主要以马尔贝克为主要调配品种的葡萄酒:安第斯。同凯洛一样,安第

斯也在阿根廷与波尔多风格之间建立了和谐平衡。第一支安第斯诞生于2003年。

凯洛酒庄位于门多萨地区中心地带的酒窖正在整修之中,此项目是拉菲罗斯柴尔德集团建设凯洛酒庄的一项重要工程。2002及以后年份的葡萄酒在工程结

束后“入住”。陈年用的大橡木桶全部出自拉菲罗斯柴尔德集团在波亚克村的造桶厂。

Bodegas Caro

The idea of forming a partnership between Domaines Barons de Rothschild-Lafite and the Catena family was first mooted in 1988. Initial enthusiasm quickly became a

concrete plan to produce a single wine that would combine French and Argentinean cultures and the two signature grapes of each producer, Malbec and Cabernet

Sauvignon.

The first vintage was produced in 2000. Quantities were very limited and wine that was released in 2002 was something of an “outline sketch” of what the two partners

wanted to achieve in their finished “work of art”. The success of the first vintage of Caro 2000,2001,2002 encouraged DBR (Lafite) and the Catena family to create another

premium wine, this time a Malbec-dominated cuvee, that would nevertheless be a balance between the Bordeaux and the Argentine style. To celebrate its Andean origin,

the wine was named Amancaya, after the mountain flower which grows in the Andes. 2003 was the first vintage.

Located in the heart of the Mendoza region, the winery at Bodegas Caro is also at the centre of the Caro project. The wines have been made here since the 2002 vintage

and work is still in progress in the cellar to further improve facilities.

CAROCARO, from CAtena and ROthschild, has a strong Argentinean identity, heralded by Malbec, while obtaining

further elegance and complexity through blending with Cabernet Sauvignon. The combination has made a

rich and refined wine; a harmonious balance between the Argentinean and Bordeaux styles.

Intense, deep red colour with fine hints of crimson.

The nose offers pleasant aromas of red and dark fruit, with redcurrants, also some mint and cedar. The

bouquet fills out with notes of vanilla, spices and mocha, characteristic of French oak.

This is a dense, complex wine, with good tannic structure. The lingering finesse of the tannins gives the wine

good length and a pleasant, soft mouthfeel.

Deep, aromatic and complex with very appealing intense fruit.

AMANCAYAAmancaya, as its elder sibling, presents a harmonious balance between the Argentinean and Bordeaux styles.

A more fruity style coming from the higher percentage of Malbec and shorter ageing. The word AMANCAYA

is the native Indian name of a flower of the Andes that you can find in the Mendoza area.

Intense, deep crimson colour.

On the nose, aromas of red and dark fruit, with redcurrants and plums, also some mint and cedar. The

bouquet fills out with notes of vanilla, spices and mocha.

This wine has a pleasant tannic structure on the palate and shows good balance.

Fine, mellow tannins. Very pleasant soft mouthfeel.

Deep and aromatic, this is a wine that can be drunk now but which will develop more elegance over the next

three to five years.

爱汝

爱汝是一款由产自门多萨最优秀土壤上的葡萄调配而成的葡萄酒。在葡萄园和酿酒车间内的工作异

ARUMAARUMA is a pure Malbec made from a blend of grapes from the best terroirs in the Mendoza region. Thanks

to the meticulous work in the vineyard and winery, this diversity offers an incomparable complexity with

which to achieve the balance, elegance and depth of flavour that make great Malbecs. "ARUMA" means

"night" in the language of the Quechua, the native Indian population of the Mendoza region. The name

suggests the deep darkness of the nights in the Andes and the very pure mountain air: the wines have the

same rich, authentic character as their terroir.

Very deep purple colour. Intense red ripen fruits, strawberries, raspberries and violet. Subtle vanilla and

chocolate scent come to complete the bouquet. Can be drunk now or kept 2-3 years.
