TUMORES HEPATICOS
Se originan en los hepatocitos,
epitelio del los conductos o tej.
Mesenquimático o propagarse
hacia el hígado desde lesiones
primarias localizadas en órganos
alejados o vecinos.
En los adultos son más frecuentes
las metástasis hepáticas que los
tumores hepáticos malignos
primarios.

En los niños los tumores
hepáticos malignos primarios
son más frecuentes que las

hepáticos benignos son raros

Presentación
clínica El Ca hepatocelular avanzado se
presenta con síntomas y signos típicos, el Dx no es difícil.
Antes de llegar al estadio tardío el Dx es difícil por varias razones:
Ninguna manifestación clínica tem. es patognomónica.
La reserva hepática funcional es de gran magnitud.
A menudo coexiste en una cirrosis hepática.

variedad consiste en # nódulos redondos irregulares de
diversos tamaños, diseminados en toda la extensión del higado.
El tejido por lo general es blando y abulta la superficie.
Es frecuente observar áreas de necrosis y hemorragia.

Constituye el 10% de los
hepatocarcinomas.
Aparece en el adulto joven.
Su etiología es
desconocida.
En el 90% casos no
aumenta la AFP.

Es un tumor circunscrito con laminillas fibrosas en
su interior.
Crecimiento lento.
Buen pronóstico tras la cirugía (50% de
supervivencia a los 5 años).
Si no es resecable, se puede optar por el
trasplante hepático.

El éxito parece ser en
buena parte cuestión de
perseverar después de
que otros hayan
abandonado.
