１.申請手続

Procedures

（１）学位の授与を受けようとする者は，定められた様式に沿って必要

書類を医歯薬学総合研究科等学務課教務グループ歯学部担当に提出

してください。Persons who wish to receive conferment of a degree should submit

the required documents in the prescribed format to the Graduate Office, Academic

Section, Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences,

Okayama University

（２）学位論文の提出時期は次のとおりとする。

９月末修了 Graduation at the end of September：

最終期限 Deadline ６月１２日 June 12

３月末修了Graduation at the end of March：

最終期限 Deadline １２月１１日 December 11

（最終期限より前に提出する場合は、各月の２０日が提出期限）

(When submitting before the final deadline, the 20th of each month is the

submission deadline)

（１）学位審査委員会の構成 Structure of the Degree Examination Committee

学位審査委員会は，教授又は准教授のうちから選出された３人の委員をもって

構成（共著者は除く）し，委員長は委員の中から互選する。ただし，委員長は教

授職であるものとする。

また，学生が所属する教育研究分野の教授及び准教授又は研究指導を委託され

た教授及び准教授は，原則として含まないものとする。

The Degree Examination Committee is composed of three members

(excluding co-authors) selected from professors or associate professors. A

chairperson is elected by the committee from among its members. However, the

chairperson must be a professor.

Furthermore, in principle, the committee shall not include professors or

associate professors in the field of education and research to which the student

belongs, or professors and associate professors entrusted with providing

research instruction to the student.

（２）学位審査 Degree examination

学位論文の審査に当たっては，学位申請者の出席を求め，学位論文を中心として，

これに関連する専門科目について筆答試問又は口頭試問を行い審査する。The degree

applicant is required to attend the degree examination. Examination will be

conducted via a written test and oral test on related academic major subjects, with

a focus on the contents of the dissertation

学位論文の審査及び最終試験に合格した者に対して，学位が授与される。A degree will

be conferred upon applicants who have passed the degree examination and the

final examination.

１．申請手続 －課程博士の学位申請手続－ Application Procedures

（１）申請資格 Dissertation Requirement

岡山大学学位規則第５条第１項の規定により学位の授与を受けようとする者

・岡山大学学位規則第５条第１項

博士の学位は，研究科の博士課程又は博士後期課程を修了した者に授与するものとする。

A Doctoral Degree shall be conferred upon persons who have completed the Doctorate Program of

the Graduate School or the three-year program of the Doctorate Program.

・岡山大学大学院医歯学総合研究科・医歯薬学総合研究科博士課程修了要件

当該課程に４年以上在学し，３０単位以上を修得し，かつ，必要な研究指導を受けた上，

研究科の行う学位論文の審査及び最終試験に合格すること。Applicants must have been enrolled in

the curriculum for at least four years, have completed at least 30 credits, received the necessary

research instruction, and have passed the degree examination and final examination conducted by

the Graduate School.

（注意１） 在学期間に関しては，「岡山大学大学院医歯薬学総合研究科修業年限の特例（４年未満

修了）に関する申合せ事項」により承認された者については，当該課程に３年以上在学すれば足

りるものとする。Persons who have been approved via the “Agreement on the special course term

of less than four years at Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and

Pharmaceutical Sciences” must be enrolled in the curriculum for at least three years.

（注意２） 単位の修得方法については，履修するコースにより異なります。研究科ホームページの

「学生便覧（履修案内）」を熟読し，入学時から確認する様に心がけてください。

また，研究方法論，課題研究セミナーの出席状況についてもホームページに定期的に掲載して

The method of earning credits depends on the course you are taking. Please carefully read the

“Student Handbook (Course Guide)” on the Graduate School website. Also, please check the

handbook periodically after you have enrolled.

In addition, the research methodologies and attendance status for theme-based research

seminars are periodically posted on the website. Please check the website periodically.

（注意３） 長期履修（８年コース）の方が７年や６年に短縮する場合の手続きは，修了する日付か

ら遡り，約１年２～３月前に手続をする必要があります。詳しくは，研究科ホームページの「長

期履修制度」をご確認ください。If persons in the long-term course (eight-year course) wish to

shorten the course to seven or six years, procedures must be performed from about fourteen to

fifteen months prior to the desired completion date. For details, please refer to the Long-term

Course Program on the Graduate School website.

① 学 位 論 文 ５部 Doctoral Dissertation: 5 copies

☆ 学位論文は自著論文とし，単著であることを原則とする。ただし，共著のものも次の条件を充た

すものは認められる。In principle, dissertations should be self-authored and written alone.

However, co-authored works are also permitted when the following conditions are satisfied.

ア． 学位論文申請者が筆頭者であり，共著者数は内容に見合った数で且つ１０名以内が望ましい。

申請者を除いた共著者数が１１名以上の場合は，指導教授の理由書を添付すること。The

applicant is the main author of the dissertation. The number of co-authors should be appropriate

for the content and should be within 10 people. If the number of co-authors (excluding the

applicant) is 11 or more, please attach a statement of the reason from the instructing professor.

イ． 掲載誌は，[Current Contents]・[EMBASE]・[PubMed]・[Journal Citation Reports]のいずれかに集

録された欧文誌に限る。The dissertation is only published in European journals which are

included in one of the following: [Current Contents]・[EMBASE]・[PubMed]・[Journal Citation

Reports].

ウ． 学位論文共著者の学位申請同意書（共著者全員）（様式 甲・乙－６）を添付すること。

A Degree Application Consent Form from Co-Authors of the Dissertation (all co-authors) must

be attached (Form Kou･Otsu-6).

☆ 学位論文は，研究科が承認した学術雑誌（又はこれ相当の印刷物）に印刷公表されたものか，又

は印刷中のものでなくてはならない。The dissertation must have been published or be in the

process of being published in a journal (or equivalent printed material) approved by the Graduate

School.

② 副 論 文 ５部 Supplementary Research Paper: 5 copies (Optional)

☆ 主論文に関連する研究の原著論文（自著論文に限るが，筆頭者でなくてもよい）

Original paper of research related to the main research paper (limited to self-authored papers;

however, the applicant does not need to be the main author)

☆ 研究の背景等を説明するために有益であっても，自著論文以外は含めないこと。

つまり，共著者に含まれていることが必要。

Do not include any papers which you did not write yourself, even if those papers are useful for

explaining the background of your research. In other words, you must be a co-author.

③ 参 考 論 文［任意］ ５部 Other Research Papers for Reference: 5 copies (Optional)

☆ 主論文のテーマとは直接関連しない原著論文，総説，症例報告

（自著論文に限るが，筆頭者でなくてもよい）

Original papers, reviews, and case reports that are not directly related to the theme of the main

research paper (limited to self-authored papers; however, the applicant does not need to be the

main author)

☆ 研究の背景等を説明するために有益であっても，自著論文以外は含めないこと。

つまり，共著者に含まれていることが必要。

Do not include any papers which you did not write yourself, even if those papers are useful for

explaining the background of your research. In other words, you must be a co-author.

※ 印刷中の学位論文が申請後，印刷公表された場合は，直ちにその別刷を提出すること。

平成２５年４月１日付け学位規則改正により、博士学位論文全文の公表について、これまでの印刷公表に

代えてインターネット公表により行うことになりました。

Due to amendments to the Degree Rules on April 1, 2013, the full text of doctoral dissertations will be

published via the internet instead of being printed as before.

（４）留意事項 Important Points

・申請書類等の事前（提出前）確認を随時受け付けています。

事前確認を希望する場合は，申請書類受付期間より前に，本人又は教育研究分野

（所属する教室）の代理人により，歯学部担当窓口へ申し出てください。

※ メール，及び，郵便での依頼は受け付けておりません。

・We offer advance (prior to submission) confirmation of application documents, etc., at any

time. If you wish to receive advance confirmation, the Dental School Office must be

notified by the applicant or a representation of the education/research field (the class to

which the applicant belongs) by the application period for acceptance of application

documents.

* Request via e-mail and postal mail will not be accepted.

・ 申請資格や申請論文等に関して，内容によっては個別に審議する必要があります。

疑義がある場合は，早めに教務グループ歯学部担当まで申し出てください。

申し出られた日によっては，審議が翌月以降となる場合もあります。

（例：早期修了，共著者が 11 名以上，複数筆頭者の場合 など）

・Individual deliberation may be necessary depending on the content of the application

eligibility, dissertation used for application, etc.

If you have any questions, please contact staff at the Dental School Office of the School

Affairs Group as soon as possible.

Depending on the day that the request was received, deliberation may take place in the

following month or later.

(Examples: Early completion, 11 or more co-authors, multiple main authors, etc.)

・「複数の筆頭著者による論文」を学位論文（主論文）とする場合の申し合せが定められています。

該当する可能性がある場合は，あらかじめ医歯薬学総合研究科ホームページで確認してください。

・Special measures are required when submitting a paper with multiple main authors as the

dissertation application (main dissertation). If there is the possibility that the dissertation

you are submitting has multiple main authors, please check the website of the Graduate

School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences in advance.

・ 休学・留学・研究指導（内地留学）をしたことがある場合は，事前に教務グループ歯学

部担当で休学・留学等の期間を確認の上，書類を作成してください。

なお，休学中に学位を申請することは出来ません。

・If you have been on a leave of absence from school, studying abroad, or receiving

research instruction (temporary study at a different school within the same country), be

sure to confirm the period of absence, period of foreign study, etc., with the Dental School

Office of the School Affairs Group in advance before creating documents.

Please note that you cannot apply for a degree while on a leave of absence.

・ 授業料について Tuition

学位授与日が９月３０日又は３月２５日の場合

学位申請までに該当（前期又は後期）期の授業料を納めておいてください。

When the date of degree conferment is September 30 or March 25

Before applying for a degree, please pay the tuition for the applicable period (first

semester or second semester).

・ 申請書類に記載された個人情報については，学位審査及び事務連絡にのみ使用します。

・ また，メールアドレスは，学位記授与式日程通知終了後，削除します。

・The personal information listed in the application documents will be used only for degree

examination and administrative communication.

Your e-mail address will be deleted after the notice of the degree conferment ceremony

schedule has been sent.

※岡山歯学会雑誌への投稿論文を「学位論文」として使用する場合

* When a dissertation that was submitted to the Okayama Dental Society Journal is used as

the dissertation for application

ア．著者は，投稿時，論文原稿に「学位論文」であることを明記し，印刷に回さないよう

に依頼する。When submitting the dissertation, the author must clearly state on the

copy of the dissertation that it will be used to apply for a degree and request that the

dissertation not be printed.

イ． 岡山歯学会雑誌編集委員（２０２０年度は，窪木教授 沢教授）に学位論文掲載予定

証明書の発行を依頼し，申請書類とあわせて提出する。Request the issuance of a

Certificate of Publishing Schedule from the Okayama Dental Society Journal Editing

Committee (Professor Kuboki and Professor Sawa for 2020). The certificate must be

submitted together with the application documents.

ウ．学位審査委員から指摘された問題点は，著者が納得の上，審査委員と相談しながら

可能な限り修正する。歯学系会議で学位審査に合格した場合，審査委員長が承認し

た修正論文を岡山医学会雑誌編集部に提出し，印刷に回してもらうよう依頼する。

Upon agreement by the author, any problems indicated by the Degree Examination

Committee will be corrected by the author to the extent possible while consulting with

the Committee. If you pass the degree examination at a meeting of the Dentistry

Section Meeting, submit the revised dissertation that has been approved by the

chairperson of the Committee to the Okayama Dental Society Journal Editing

Department and request that the dissertation be published.

（５）参考 Reference

・ [Current Contents]，[EMBASE]，[Medline]，インパクトファクターについて，オンラインによる

検索方法の一例を，医歯薬学総合研究科ホームページ上に掲載しています。

・For an example of how to conduct online searches for Current Contents, EMBASE,

Medline, and impact factors, please refer to the website of the Graduate School of

Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

２．学位審査 Degree Examination

審査の日程・場所については，審査委員が決まり次第，指導教授を通し本人へ連絡します。

審査委員の決定は，学位論文提出期限翌月の中旬に決定します。

※１２月に申請した方は審査の期間が２週間ほどしかとれません。非常に短い期間となってしまうの

できる限り前の月の期限に間に合うようにご提出くださるようお願いします。

As soon as members of the Degree Examination Committee have been decided, the

* For applicants who apply in December, the examination period will only be about 2 weeks.

This is an extremely short period of time. Therefore, when possible, please submit your

application by the deadline for November.

３．学位授与 Degree Conferment

学位論文の審査に合格し課程修了が認められた者に対して学位が授与されます。

学位記授与式に関しては，「学位申請者データ」に入力されているメールアドレス宛てに連絡します。

Degrees are conferred upon applicants who pass the degree examination and are

recognized as completing curriculum course.

Details regarding the degree conferment ceremony will be sent to the e-mail address that

was entered in the Degree Applicant Data.
