CEMSとは｜ What is CEMS?

CEMSは、世界トップレベルの大学およびビジネススクール、提携するグローバル企業、NGOから構成されており、CEMS MIM（CEMS Master’s in International Management）というダブルディグリープログラムを提供しています。これは国際経営学修士コースで、このプログラムに参加し修了要件を満たした学生は在籍するCEMS 加盟校からの修士号とCEMS 修士号の両方を取得できます。Financial Times Global Master’s in Management ランキングにおいて常にトップ10 以内にランクインしているように、世界トップレベルの国際経営学プログラムとして認識されています。

CEMSに加盟できるのは各国1校と限られており、日本からは慶應義塾大学が加盟しています。慶應義塾大学では、経済学研究科・商学研究科・メディアデザイン研究科の学生が CEMS MIMプログラムに参加することができます。CEMS MIMプログラムに出願するには、これらの研究科の修士課程への入学が前提となります。各研究科への入学に関しては、それぞれの研究科にお問い合わせいただくか、下記のウェブサイトをご参照ください。

CEMS is an alliance that consists of world’s leading higher education institutions in business, in association with multinational companies and NGOs. CEMS offers a double degree programme, CEMS MIM (CEMS Master’s in International Management) Programme, an international management master’s course. Students who complete this programme receive a master’s degree both from their home institution and from CEMS. Constantly ranked in the top 10 in Financial Times Global Master’s in Management Ranking, CEMS MIM is now recognized as a world-leading programme in the field of management.

Only one institution from each country is able to join CEMS, and Keio University is from Japan. At Keio University, students of the Graduate School of Economics, the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, and the Graduate School of Media Design are eligible to apply for the CEMS MIM Programme. Keio CEMS MIMプログラムKeio CEMS MIM Programme

Keio CEMS MIM （CEMS Master’s in International Management）プログラムは、CEMSと慶應義塾大学が提供するプログラムです。CEMS MIMでは、グローバルに活躍するビジネスパーソンに必要な高い能力と、責任あるグローバルリーダーとしての良識を養うことを追及しています。CEMS MIMプログラムは、CEMS提携企業とのネットワークにより、理論だけではなく実践にも強いプログラムを提供しており、各CEMS加盟校は、CEMSとして共通する高い質を保ちつつも、独自の強みを生かしたカリキュラムを組んでいます。慶應義塾大学では、経済学研究科、商学研究科、経営管理研究科、メディアデザイン研究科より、幅広い分野のプログラムを提供しています。CEMS MIMプログラムに参加する学生（以下、CEMS生）は、1 ～ 2学期間（Term 1と Term 2）にわたりCEMS科目を履修し、ビジネスプロジェクト等に参加するほか、グローバル企業での10週間連続インターンシップにより実務経験を積みます。CEMS生は3学期（Term 1、Term 2およびTerm 3 （International Internship））のうち、2学期間を所属校がある国以外の国で履修することが義務付けられています。交換留学が2学期間にわたる場合は、それぞれの学期で別のCEMS加盟校に留学します（2校とも同じCEMS加盟校に留学することはできません）。CEMS加盟校に所属するCEMS生で慶應義塾大学への交換留学を希望する学生は、所属CEMS加盟校内での選抜を経て、プログラム期間中の１学期間を慶應義塾大学に留学することができます。また、学生は英語のほかに2つの言語（母語を含む）を修得しなければなりません。

The Keio CEMS MIM (CEMS, Master’s in International Management) Programme is offered jointly by CEMS and Keio University. This programme aims to cultivate the high level of ability required of global business persons and the sound practical judgment of international citizens. Supported by a network of CEMS Corporate Partners, the CEMS MIM Programme offers courses which have both strong theoretical and practical elements. While maintaining the high quality common to all CEMS partners, each member school has a curriculum exhibiting its unique strengths. At Keio University, the Graduate School of Economics, the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, Keio Business School, and the Graduate School of Media Design offer programs in a wide variety of fields of study. 　Students who take part in the CEMS MIM Programme (hereafter referred to as “CEMS students”) will take CEMS courses and participate in business projects for two terms (Term 1 and Term 2). They will also gain practical experience through 10 consecutive weeks of internship in a global company. Meanwhile, CEMS students who belong to CEMS member schools and wish to come to Keio University as an exchange student are allowed to spend Term 1 or Term 2 at Keio University after selection at their respective home CEMS member schools. Students who participate in the CEMS MIM Programme must spend two out of the three terms (Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3 [International Internship]) outside of the country where the student’s home institution is located. In addition, students are not able to spend both Term 1 and Term 2 at the same CEMS member school. Students are also required to acquire two languages (including Mother tongue) besides English.

慶應義塾大学のCEMS生は、CEMS MIMプログラムの修了要件および経済学研究科、商学研究科、メディアデザイン研究科のうち、所属する研究科が定める修了要件の両方を満たす必要があります。各研究科の修了要件やCEMS MIMプログラムに参加した場合の履修スケジュールは7 ～ 14ページをご参照下さい。CEMS MIMプログラムのみの修了要件や費用については下記のとおりです。

The Keio CEMS students must fulfill both the graduation requirements for the CEMS MIM Programme and those defined as the graduation requirements by their respective graduate schools. For more information on the graduation requirements of each graduate school and the CEMS MIM Programme, please refer page 7-14. The graduation requirements and fees and applying only to the CEMS MIM Programme are described below.

CEMS MIMプログラムに参加する学生は、Student Registration and Handling Feeとして€100（2015年1月現在）をCEMS本部に支払います。派遣先大学での授業料は原則免除となります（Block Seminarなど、プログラムによっては学生に負担を求める加盟校もあります）。航空券代や派遣先での滞在費など（寮費、食費、その他日常生活で必要となる経費）はCEMS生の自己負担となります。

費用｜ Fees and Expenses

Students are required to pay the Student Registration and Handling Fee of €100(as of January 2015) to CEMS headquarters. As a rule, students of the CEMS MIM Programme are exempt from tuition fees at the schools they attend abroad (some institutions charge students additional fees for certain programs, such as Block Seminars). CEMS students shall bear the cost of airfare and living costs (dormitory fees, food costs and other expenses).

*1 Block Seminarとは、教授陣とCEMS生が文化的また学術的トピックを通して交流を図るセミナーで、Term 1直前に実施されます。*2 ECTSとはEuropean Credit Transfer and Accumulation Systemの略で、欧州の多くの高等教育機関で採用されている単位互換制度です。1年間で60 ECTSを取得する

ことを基本とし、7段階評価が採用されています。詳細は、欧州委員会のWebサイト(http://ec.europa.eu/education/tools/ects_en.htm)をご参照下さい。*3 Responsible Global Leadership Seminarとは、講義やディスカッション、グループワークを通じ、国際人として責任ある選択ができるリーダーを目指すセミナーで、Term 2直前

に行われます。*4 Business Projectとは、教授陣と企業の共同指導のもと、ビジネス上の実践的な課題にチームで取り組み、解決策を導き出すプロジェクトであり、Term 2に実施されます。*5 Skill Seminarsとは、少人数のグループの中で、異文化交流のスキルや国際的な場での交渉力、グループワーク力、プレゼン能力を磨く実践的なセミナーです。*6 International Internshipは学術的知識や理論を実際の国際的ビジネスの場で生かすことを目的としており、少なくとも１０週間以上連続で行われる必要があります。

CEMS students must complete the following graduation requirements of the CEMS MIM Programme:1 Spend a minimum two terms out of three abroad2 Obtain a Master’s Degree from the home institute3 Block Seminar *1 (3 ECTS*2)4 Responsible Global Leadership Seminar *3 (1 ECTS)5 CEMS Courses consisting of 45 ECTS in total (The “Global Strategy” [Term 1] and

“Global Management Practice” [Term 2] courses are mandatory.)6 Business Project *4 (15 ECTS)7 Skill Seminars *5(includes Business Communication Skill Seminar)(2 ECTS) 8 Internship in International Company *6

9 Acquire Oral B2 and, Written B1 level in one of the CEMS Languages, and complete the introductory level of a language course for the third language

*1 Block seminars bring together professors and students to interact and converse on a variety of cultural and academic topics just before Term 1.*2 The Responsible Global Leadership Seminar is offered just before Term2 and teaches students through lectures,

discussions, and group work about the characteristics of a responsible leader. *3 ECTS is an abbreviation of the “European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System,” a credit transfer system adopted by many higher educational institutions in Europe. Students must complete 60 ECTS in a year. Courses are assessed on a seven-level grading scale. career such as intercultural skills, international negotiation, group work skills, and presentation skills.*6 The main objective of the international internship is to apply academic and theoretical knowledge in a real international business setting. Internships must cover a period of at least 10 consecutive weeks full time in the same company.

経済学研究科 Graduate School of Economics

明治期以来、義塾の理財科、旧制経済学研究科は、わが国の経済学の発展に重要な役割を果たしてきました。

その伝統を受け継ぎ、昭和 26（1951）年に修士課程、昭和 28（1953）年に博士課程を開設しました。

以来、経済学部・経済学研究科は経済学説史研究、新古典派理論、ケインズ理論、計量経済学、財政学、

経済史研究、経済政策・社会経済思想史など、経済学のほとんど全ての分野にわたって、

日本を代表する優れた研究を行い、有為の人材を輩出しています。

平成 19（2007）年より他大学との単位交換制度を導入、また平成 21（2009）年よりパリ政治学院と、

平成 25（2013）年よりボッコーニ大学とそれぞれダブルディグリープログラムを開始するなど、

教育体制の一層の充実を図っています。

Since the Meiji Period (1868-1912), the Department of Economics has made significant contributions to the development of Japan’s study of economics. Inheriting this tradition, the Graduate School of Economics began a master’s programme in 1951 and the doctoral programme in 1953. Since then, the Graduate School of Economics has been conducting leading research and developing talented graduates across almost all fields of economics, including history of economic theory, neoclassical and Keynesian theories, econometrics, public finance, economic history, economic and social policy, and history of social and economic thought. The Graduate School of Economics is making efforts to further enhance its educational system, through such initiatives as introducing credit transfer systems with other universities in 2007 and starting the double-degree programme with L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris ("Sciences Po") from 2009, and with Università Bocconi from 2013.

詳しくは学生部学事グループ経済学研究科担当までお問い合せ頂くか、または http://www.econ.keio.ac.jp/grd-school/curriculum.shtml の「修士課程」をご参照下さい。経済学研究科への入学時期は、４月のみとなるため、修士課程全体のカリキュラムとCEMS MIMプログラムのカリキュラムの想定されるスケジュールは以下のようになります。また、CEMS 加盟校で取得した単位は、帰国後に所定の手続きと審査を経れば、経済学研究科修士課程の修了に必要な単位として認定することができ、留学をした期間は帰国後に所定の手続きと審査を経れば、1 年間を上限に経済学研究科修士課程の修了に必要な在学期間に算入することができます。

経済学研究科の修士課程修了要件

Students of the Graduate School of Economics who participate in the CEMS MIM Programme can obtain a CEMS Master’s in International Management (CEMS MIM) along with a Master of Arts in Economics from Keio University by completing the requirements for both degrees. In order to acquire a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Economics, the student must enroll in the program for at least two years (unless a one-year exemption is allowed) and pass the defense of his/her dissertation (master’s thesis), the final test, as well as acquiring 30 credits with the following distribution requirements:

As the table shows, it takes longer to acquire a Master of Arts in Economics from Keio University and CEMS MIM than to complete a normal master’s degree. The Graduate School of Business and Commerce was founded in 1961 from the Faculty ofBusiness and Commerce, which became independent of the Faculty of Economics in 1957. On the basic principle of using theory and practice to comprehend today’s globalised society and gain insights into its direction of progress and innovation, two master’s programmes, the Academic Research course and the Accounting for Professionals course, have been established with respective aims to foster research and education specialists, and senior executives and professionals. The Accounting for Professionals course provides the latest theories regarding accounting, management, finance, governance, and other fields of research to train leading accounting professionals and corporate leaders. The Academic Research course and Doctoral Programme train high-quality research and education specialists who can contribute to universities, research institutes, and think tanks both at home and abroad.

（CEMS MIM）を取得できます。商学研究科修士課程修了要件は以下のとおりです。

商学研究科の修士課程修了要件

Requirements for completion of master’s programme at the Graduate School of Business and CommerceStudents of the Graduate School of Business and Commerce who participate in the CEMS MIM Programme can obtain a CEMS Master’s in International Management (CEMS MIM) in addition to their Master of Arts in Business and Commerce from Keio University by completing requirements of both degrees. In order to acquire a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, the student must meet the requirements for the selected course shown below.1 Academic Research CourseProgram completion requires students to be enrolled in the master's program at the Graduate School of Business and Commerce for two or more years, and to pass the defence of dissertation and the final test. Additionally, students must acquire at least 32 credits in total from introductory subjects, core program classes, specialized subjects, seminar classes. Note that the 32 credits above must include a minimum of 2 credits from introductory subjects and a minimum of 8 credits from seminar classes. 2 Accounting for Professionals CourseProgram completion requires students to be enrolled in the master’s program at the Graduate School of Business and Commerce for two or more years, and in lieu of a master’s dissertation, submit 3 original passing essays from 3 (different) seminar classes for evaluation, as well as the final test. メディアデザイン研究科Graduate School of Media Design

今、生産性や効率に代わって、創造性が経済的価値を生み出す「創造社会」が到来しています。

創造性とは、新しいアイデアや表現、プロセスをゼロから生み出すこと。

本研究科では、創造社会を先導するグローバルに活躍できる創造リーダー「メディア・イノベータ」を育成します。

メディア・イノベータは、デザイン、テクノロジ、マネジメント、ポリシーの

4 つの分野の創造力を統合し、新たな社会的価値を生み出すことのできる人材です。

本研究科では、各自が自身の専門性に基づき能力を高めるとともに、他分野の創造性を理解し

A “creative society,” a world in which creativity is the source of economic values rather than productivity or efficiency, is currently taking shape. Creativity is new ideas, expressions, and processes produced from nothing. KMD fosters “media innovators,” creative leaders who will lead this creative society on a global scale. A media innovator is someone who can produce new social values by integrating the four creative fields of design, technology, management, and policy. We offer a curriculum that enables each student to acquire advanced professional skills based onhis or her specialty, while developing basic competencies and practical skills to understand and to put into practice the creativities not only in their own field, but also in other fields. It also features “Real Projects,” a practical program aimed at solving real-world problems, where students nurture collective creativity through active collaborations with those who have different talents and abilities. KMD itself is also a very cosmopolitan community; its official languages are English and Japanese.

メディアデザイン研究科（KMD）の修士課程修了要件

Students of the Graduate School of Media Design who participate in the CEMS MIM Programme can obtain a CEMS Master’s in International Management (CEMS MIM) along with a Master of Media Design from Keio University by meeting the graduation requirements for both degrees. In order to obtain the master’s degree from the Graduate School of Media Design, the student is required to earn a minimum of 32 credits while meeting the requirements described below, as well as to pass the final presentation and examination for their master’s thesis.

The Graduate School of Media Design permits enrolment in April and September every year. As the table shows below, it takes at least two and a half year to obtain a master's degree from Graduate school of Media Design. The credits acquired at CEMS member Schools can be included in the required credits to complete the master’s programme at the Graduate School of Media Design as well as study abroad period at CEMS Member schools (Maximum one year) can be counted towards completion of the master’s programme at the Graduate School of Media Design through the designated procedure and approval upon a student’s return.

The highly acclaimed CEMS MIM Programme has won the trust of international corporations across the globe, limited not just to CEMS Corporate Partners. Currently, many CEMS alumni enjoy successful careers in worldwide companies. CEMS offers career support for CEMS students and Alumni. Throughout the CEMS MIM year, there are many opportunities for CEMS students to make meaningful connections with various corporations including CEMS Corporate Partners. Every year around November, there is also the CEMS Career Forum, the biggest CEMS career support event. Here, CEMS students and alumni have an opportunity to talk directly with company representatives at their company booths and those interested may also be given job interviews. Moreover, there is an online system to which CEMS students and alumni can register and manage their CV. Online CVs are made public to relevant Corporate Partners who are able to contact students directly. There is also an online bulletin board for Corporate Partners to post job listings exclusively for CEMS students and alumni.

For academic preparation for the CEMS MIM Programme, you must meet one of the following two conditions: （1） A bachelor’s degree in management, economics, or a related fields（2） Received the equivalent of one full year of full-time education at master’s level in any of these areasNote: If you are a master’s student at the Graduate School of Media Design and have not received either a Bachelor’s in Management, Economics, or a related fields, or you have not received the equivalent to one year of full-time graduate level education in any of these areas, you are required to submit an additional document that describes your background (educational background and/or work experience) to the Office of Student Services at Hiyoshi Campus (KMD Office).
