Note!! Important updates!! You must load all the colleges you are applying to in your

Naviance account. All supporting application documents from Las Lomas (transcripts, letters

of recommendation, etc.) must be sent through Naviance. Counselor and teacher recommenders will submit supporting

documents through Naviance, when requested to do so. Students will still submit applications by following the instructions set forth

by each college. Student applications will not be submitted through Naviance.

Student Checklist Before You Begin Your Application Make Sure You Have:High School/College Transcript

Use to correctly enter your classes and grades Do not report classes and grades by memory

Test Scores Send your SAT/ACT, Subject Exams if applicable, directly from the

testing agency(College Board or ACT) OK to apply before all tests are completed

Activities & Awards Make a list of most significant awards, volunteer work, paid work and

extra-curricular activities. Make note of time involved in activity. BE SPECIFIC! Use details of what

you did!

After you apply….

Check your email often! Make sure your email address reflects how you want the colleges

to see you.

Check your campus web portal and corresponding email account.
