COSMIC incorpora el VIT-TECH (acero vitrifica-do), un material tecnológicamente avanzado, no poroso, higiénico y resistente que permanece inalterable al paso del tiempo.

Para la adaptación de esta nueva técnica a las líneas puras y ángulos rectos que caracterizan los diseños de COSMIC se ha realizado un gran esfuerzo en Investigación y Desarrollo logran-do el equilibrio perfecto entre forma y función, razón y emoción. El resultado es la creación de SOLID una nueva colección de lavabos de formas sólidas y compactas; y la ampliación de las colecciones de mobiliario ya existentes BLOCK e INSIDE.

VIT-TECH abre una nueva vía en el diseño de COSMIC y contribuye a la creación de una de las ofertas más globales y sugestivas existen-tes en el mercado.

COSMIC incorporates the VIT-TECH (glass-lined steel); a technologically advanced, non-porous, hygienic and resistant material that remains unalterable over time. Hard work in Research and Development ena-bled this new technique to adapt to the pure and straight angled lines that characterise the COSMIC designs, striving for the perfect bal-ance between form and function, reason and emotion. The result is the creation of SOLID: a new collection of washbasins in consolidated and compact forms; and the extension of the already existing furniture collections BLOCK and INSIDE. VIT-TECH represents a new COSMIC design approach that contributes to creating one of the most global and suggestive offers currently on the market.

VIT-TECH es un material tecnológicamente avan-zado y único, que nace de cocer a una temperatu-ra entre 780 y 850 grados centígrados una super-ficie de acero, esmaltada previamente.

La unión del esmalte, de naturaleza vítrea, y el acero da lugar a un material de propiedades ex-celentes que permite una extensa gama de apli-caciones en bañeras, platos de ducha y lavabos, y también en hornos, calderas, conductos de chi-meneas o revestimiento de fachadas.

VIT-TECH está pensado para los que buscan un material con las cualidades técnicas más exigen-tes sin renunciar a los diseños más diversos.

VIT-TECH is a technologically advanced unique material resulting from firing a previously enam-elled steel surface at a temperature between 780 and 850 degrees centigrade.

The fusion of vitreous enamel and steel gives rise to a material with excellent properties that can be developed for an extensive range of applications in baths, shower trays and washbasins, as well as ov-ens, boilers, chimney ducts or facade resurfacing.

VIT-TECH is designed for people who require a material with special technical qualities but who are not willing to compromise on diverse design capacity.

resistencia a la corrosiónEl esmalte proporciona al acero una gran resis-tencia a la corrosión. Las superficies esmaltadas no son porosas lo que hace que sean completa-mente impermeables.

resistencia químicaLa composición del esmalte posibilita una excelente resistencia a agentes químicos como ácidos o deter-gentes. El contacto directo con cosméticos y produc-tos de limpieza no altera la superficie esmaltada.

resistencia mecánicaLa propiedad vítrea del esmalte confiere una exce-lente dureza al material. Esto otorga una gran re-sistencia a la abrasión, desgaste, rayado y choques.

resistencia al calor y al fríoGracias a la naturaleza vítrea del esmalte, este material resiste temperaturas extremas de -60ºC hasta los 500ºC sin que se produzca ninguna al-teración. Además, puede soportar importantes choques térmicos superiores a 100 ºC sin ningún deterioro. Estas características hacen idóneo su uso en aparatos de cocina, utensilios de menaje o tubos de escape.

higiene y limpiezaLa superficie vitrificada, lisa y dura, no presenta poros o grietas y evita la acumulación de polvo o la fermentación de bacterias. Es un material de fácil limpieza que no necesita la utilización de productos exclusivos o específicos. estabilidad del colorPosibilidad de ofrecer una amplia gama de tex-turas, acabados (satinados, brillantes y mates) y colores que presentan una gran estabilidad y resistencia al paso del tiempo.

ecológico El acero esmaltado es un material 100% reci-clable, fruto de la combinación de dos mate-riales también reciclables como son el vidrio y el acero. El proceso de producción dado las características inorgánicas y no nocivas de los materiales utilizados tiene un impacto ambien-tal reducido.

corrosion resistantThe enamel ensures the steel is highly resistant to corrosion. The enamelled surfaces are non-porous and therefore are fully impermeable.

chemically resistantThe composition of the enamel means it is high-ly resistant to chemical agents such as acids or detergents. Direct contact with cosmetics or cleaning products will not affect the enamelled surface.

mechanically resistantThe enamel’s vitreous property means the mate-rial is extremely hard. This affords it great resist-ance to abrasion, wear and tear, scratching and bumps.

heat and cold resistantThe enamel’s vitreous property means the ma-terial can withstand extreme temperatures from -60ºC up to 500ºC without a single alteration. It can also withstand heat shocks over 100 ºC with-out deteriorating. These characteristics make it perfect for use in kitchen apparatus, household utensils or exhaust pipes.
