1
Culture Night is an annual event that celebrates
culture, creativity and the arts. It will take place on
Friday 18th September 2015 from about 2.00pm
and continue to late into the night! Culture Night
happens because many people share a vision and
enthusiasm for enjoying, celebrating and promoting
creativity and culture. The following programme
gives a taste of the wide range of people and
institutions, communities and artists that make it
happen across County Galway. A record 80 events
in 31 towns and villages across County Galway are
taking place this year. As Galway bids to become
the 2020 European Capital of Culture we should
harness this good will and keep working together
as a creative community to ensure Galway not only
wins the 2020 bid but makes it the best year it has
the potential to be.
So why not have a look at what’s on in your area
and try something new!
