First is committed to listening to our customers and ensuring that you are at the forefront of our decisions. To make your journey easier and more comfortable, services are run with modern, easy access buses to assist customers with mobility problems and parents with small children in pushchairs. Free WiFi is available on board for your added convenience. Service X13 provides a frequent link between Ammanford, Pontarddulais and Swansea. Services run every 30 minutes on weekdays for most of the day, making X13 ideal for commuting, leisure or visiting friends and family. Early morning and evening services run through to and from Llandeilo. At other times, weekday service (103) is provided from Llandeilo to Ammanford. On Sundays, service X13 offers 4 journeys between Ammanford and Swansea. What’s Changed? From 3 March, Morning journeys will be allocated extra running time to improve reliability. On Mondays to Fridays, journeys from Ammanford between 0630 and 0815 will run 15 minutes earlier because of traffic congestion. Inside you can find: Timetables and a route map of service X13 Places of Interest along the route Contact details for timetable enquiries and customer service Llandeilo: A pleasant, small market town of narrow streets with distinctive shops and historic buildings; Llandeilo is a conservation area and several of the town’s buildings are listed. The town has several pubs and restaurants which offer meals at inexpensive prices. Adjoining the town is the extensive National Trust-managed Dinefwr Park, with the ruins of Dinefwr Castle and the church of Llandyfeisant. Footpaths through the landscaped park lead to the castle and have good views of the Towy Valley. The ground floor and basement of Newton House, which dates from 1660, are open to visitors. Llandybie: The beautiful stone church of St. Tybie that stands in Llandybie today is medieval in origin. Its tower dominates the village and is visible for miles around although the clock wasn’t added until 1920. Llandybie boasts an 18-hole golf course within the Glynhir Estate. Also within the estate are the spectacular 30 foot Glynhir Falls. Legend has it that caves on Llandybie’s limestone crop are the resting place of Owain Lawgoch, the sleeping warrior who awaits the call to rise and free his native land from oppression. There are also several legends which tell of Cromwell’s presence in the area in 1648, the year he took Tenby Castle. Ammanford: Developed at the centre of the anthracite coalfield and today it is one of the busiest towns in the County of Carmarthenshire. The shopping area has been enhanced by pedestrianisation and environmental improvements. Since the demise of the ‘National Coal Board’ and the resulting privatisation of what’s left of the coal industry, Ammanford has become a dormitory area for larger towns such as Llanelli and Carmarthen and the City of Swansea. Parc Fforestfach: One of the new generation of out of town shopping centres, with many of the big ‘High Street’ names, X13 stops conveniently close to the centre. If you wish to spend an hour or two at Parc Fforestfach and then continue to Swansea there are several other frequent services into the City Centre. Swansea: The birthplace of Dylan Thomas, Wales’ second largest city is situated within walking distance from the 5 mile sweep of Swansea Bay. Swansea has the largest indoor market in Wales, where you can sample and buy many local delicacies such as cockles and laverbread. It boasts an award winning Marina and Maritime Quarter and is home to the new National Waterfront Museum. An iconic 142m long Sail Bridge featuring a vast 40 metre high mast links the Maritime Quarter with the SA1 Swansea Waterfront Development. At the end of Swansea Bay is Mumbles, a Victorian seaside village full of character and deserving of its name as the ‘Gateway to Gower’. The Pier is well worth a visit. With such a wide range of places to see and things to do, Swansea is a great day out! Mae gwasanaeth X13 yn darparu cysylltiadau aml rhwng Rhydaman, Pontarddulais ac Abertawe. Mae’r gwasanaeth yn rhedeg bob 30 munud ar ddiwrnodau’r wythnos, y rhan fwyaf o’r dydd, felly mae X13 yn ddelfrydol ar gyfer cymudo, hamdden neu ymweld â ff rindiau a theulu.

Mae gwasanaethau yn gynnar yn y bore a min nos yn rhedeg, i ac o Landeilo. Ar adegau eraill, darperir gwasanaeth diwrnodau’r wythnos (103) o Landeilo i Rydaman.

Ar ddydd Sul, mae gwasanaeth X13 yn cynnig 4 siwrnai rhwng Rhydaman ac Abertawe.

Beth sydd wedi newid?O 3 Mawrth, bydd amser rhedeg ychwanegol yn cael ei neilltuo ar gyfer teithiau yn y bore i wella dibynadwyedd. Bydd teithiau o Rydaman, rhwng 0630 a 0815 o ddydd Llun i ddydd Gwener, yn rhedeg 15 munud yn gynt oherwydd tagfeydd traffi g.
