Prologue.
Each arrangement is another moving path. From here to there, from there to another place.With the mileage and distance, I lost some stuff, and pick up some too, surprisingly. Then where am I heading for?

每次的整理都是又一次移動的路徑/從這裡到那裡/從那裡到那裡/在不斷累積的里程數與距離中/我掉了一些物件/也意外地撿到了一些不屬於自己的東西/然後我又要前往哪裡?
Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, graduated from dept. advertising(BA), college of communication, National Cheng-Chih University. Currently study in Institute of fashion and communications design, Shih Chien University. Master in graphic design, animation and film.

土司因為偏食而拒絕吃起司與生菜,因此變得營養不良形狀乾癟,而周遭的蔬果看到他的情況覺
得同情它,便商議決定一同幫他恢復健康:草莓們頂著麵團列隊餵食它,而綠花椰菜跳到牛奶裡
吸取白色的牛奶後跳出來變成白花椰菜,然後灌溉給土司。經過了一番努力後,土司恢復了健
康,但同時也食慾大開,便忘恩負義地把周遭幫他的蔬果都大口吃掉,因而變成了一個華美的三
明治,最後反倒招引人類來咬他一口。
There are two pieces of toast put on the dining table, which are very picky on foods. And because of
pickiness of food, toasts suffer from malnutrition, which become weaker and get smaller. At this moment,
vegetables on the same table gather around them to look over. They decide to help them with some dough
and milk, which can nourish the toasts to back to normal. After the cooperation of these vegetable, toasts
become alive and all the food celebrate for the reconciliation between them. It seems to be a happy ending.
But due to the recovery of toasts, they suddenly have a great appetite. Toasts eat them up in a rush, they
feel satisfied, and they are no hunger any more. While they ate too much kinds of vegetable, toasts become
a gorgeous sandwich, which is abundant with plenty of food. At this moment, human beings come into the
kitchen, grab them and take a bite immediately.

天空中有一顆黑色的星星,沒人看的到他,他太黑了。其他的星星一
到晚上便閃閃發亮,而他卻漆黑一片。他到哪裡都不受到其他星星的
歡迎,因為他會吸走他們的光。因此,星星們都不願靠近他,他的周
圍顯得更加黯淡了。他也想受到人們的注意與讚嘆。他負氣地遠走到
太陽系的邊緣。
一天科學家發現有一顆彗星正朝地球而來,全人類陷入大恐揮慌。而
不巧的是,當彗星飛進太陽系時,撞上的黑色星星,彼此都化為碎
片,灰飛湮滅。人們對於莫名的化險為夷感到興奮,並大肆地感謝任
何他們的所知,除了黑色星星。而他的碎片此時正飄散在太空中,消
失,就像不曾存在過一樣。
There has a black star in the sky, nobody can see him, he is too dark to see
at night. Other stars look shiny and starry at night, while he is plain black.
He is isolated by other stars, they don’t want to close to him, because he
will absorb the light of them. It seems more dark around him.He is full of
sadness, he wants to shine and be seen by people. He leave for the far far
edge of solar system with anger. But unfortunately, he is hit by the comet at
the edge of solar system. The black star is dead, and is broke into fragments,
disappears in the space, and nobody find it, like he never exist before.

劇情短片《早餐》(The Twist),主要講述父女之間複雜的交集與矛盾,此外希望透過主角為算命師的特殊身分,表達命運的
不可抗拒性,以宿命論的觀點出發,希望觀影者能從影片中體
會即使生活不一定順遂,但生命依舊值得努力。
中年轉職的算命師林國棟,與就讀高中的女兒相依為命。兩人之
間雖然沒有太多的溝通,生活上卻充滿著許多毋須言語的默契。
一天,一位朋友來找算命師,算命師怎麼也無法算出朋友49歲以
後的流年,而當天又正好是朋友49歲生日,朋友一離開算命師家
便立即意外身亡。算命師想起自己的女兒也和那位朋友一樣,即
算不出19歲之後的命運。他再一次將女兒命盤反覆運仍無結果,
更意外發現兩人命中帶沖,父親將剋死女兒。情急之下,他決定
在還沒找到化解的方法前,排除掉所有女兒可能遭遇的劫數。眼
看女兒19歲生日一天天逼近,算命師所使出的招數也越來越離奇
荒謬…
The Twist HDV / Fiction2010 45’23早餐
The Twist is a short fiction, which is about conflict between father
and daughter, moral and affection, culture and civilization. Through
the point of fatalism, it presents a hope to move on when life is hard.
Lin Kuo-dong is a midlife career changer who became a fortune
teller, having no one but his high school daughter. Even though the
two do not communicate much, they have a tacit understanding
between them as they live their normal everyday life.
One day, Lin’s friend came to him and asks for a reading. Neverthe-
less, Lin cannot figure out anything for his friend concerning his fol-
lowing year, whose 49th birthday is coming up in three days (birth-
days that ends with 9 is considered a bad luck year). Three days later,
Lin is informed that his friend died. Suddenly, he remembers that his
daughter is in the same situation as his dead friend—not being able
to read a fortune, and to make things worse, turning 19 this year. No
matter how hard Lin tries to turn things around through all sorts of
readings, he is unable to change anything about her daughter’s fate.
Moreover, he accidentally discovers that the two of them are destined
against each other horoscope wise, which would eventually lead to
the daughter’s death, having the father’s qui harming her.
Being a desperate and worried father, Lin decides to do everything in
his power to fight off all the potential calamities that might happen
to his precious daughter while he tries to solve the problem of the
two opposing fates. As his daughter’s 19th birthday gets closer and
closer, the fortuneteller’s attempts becomes more and more bazaar
and extreme…

這個社會以既有的價值觀,套上了許多的專有名詞,不斷地在不同的
個體上貼上標籤,分門別類。這是一種歸屬的情結,人們總是善於將
自己與他人,標籤式地歸化其所屬。而動物們也遭受到主流價值的迫
害,被人類任意地用標籤歸化他們的行為。因此藉由動物的行為,來
對於人們所謂的價值觀,進行拆解與破壞。
Human beings like to lable on everything with their moral value, and most
of them judge things with pride and prejudice. And animals are suffered
from these judgement of human beings. By the angle of the cat, re-build or
even destroy the moving word “Copycat“, which is a hugh prejudice and
bad reputation for cats.
