    Winter Wonderland

    Winter has hit Yulet 7 hard and settled in thought Rebel Commander Cratch and its not slowing those

    3zs down one bit. Kring, lets head into that building and take cover there before were overrun, or-

    dered Cratch

    The Sorak nodded his head and sprinted to the building with the rebel commander right behind him.

    Bursting through the door the two rebels found themselves face to face with a Orc pointing his weap-

    on at them. Do you mind shutting the door before those beasts follow you in. Make sure you shut it

    real tight too, said Marl. Once youre done then we can have a talk and dont get antsy with the

    weapons.

    After securing the door Cratch turned to the Orc, Ok the doors are secure. What do you want from

    us?

    Me? I just want to get off this frozen ice cube before Im eaten alive by those things. I figured safety in

    numbers, which is why I didnt shoot you guys before you came running through the door. What do

    you say? Shall we work together? Names Marl by the way, answered Marl.

    If youre willing to help us get to our ship through those hoards then Im willing to drop you off at the

    nearest port, replied Cratch. Deal?

    Deal answered Marl finally lowering his weapon. So whats the pl

    Just then a loud explosion rocks the building. Looking out side the window Kring motions for the two

    to join him. Looks like there are three Enforcers out there. Half that squad just got taken down by the

    zombies. Should we help them?

    Let them die responded Cratch. To hell with them and the damned Corporations.

    Marl said, We could use their help and their guns. Theres a lot of those things out there, his face

    cringing as he watched another Enforcer get pulled apart by 4 zombies.

    Marl is right, Cratch, said Kring. For some reason I have this feeling that we should help them and

    that if we do, well be able to get off this planet.

    Cratch stared at the two in disbelief. All well get from them for helping them is a bullet to the head

    You may be right, but if we save them and give them the option to help, they just may. responded

    Kring.

    Fine Whats the plan? asked Cratch.

    Take cover behind those desks, keep your rifle on the head of the big one, Kring you cover the other

    one once I wave them in. Then we can have a nice long talk. said Marl.

    Commander shouted Sgt. Cross. Theres an Orc waving us toward that building

    Head towards that building Sgt, but proceed with caution. responded Commander Xavier

    Sprinting to just outside the door Sgt. Cross shouted, Get your hands up Orc Step back from the

    door

    Take it easy there soldier. Im just trying to help. In case you didnt notice, there are zombies out

    there eating your squad. said Marl backing from doorway. Itll be better for all of us if you just get

    inside so I can block the door again.

    Commander Xavier responded No tricks Maruader or Ill blow your green head off Sergeant, close

    the door behind us.

    After shutting the door, Sgt. Cross turned around to see a Sorak pointing his blaster at him and the

    laser sight pointing at the Commander.

    Now, said Marl, please put your weapons on the ground gentlemen. Its time we have a discussion

    about getting off this planet.

    What makes you think Ill make a deal with you Orc. Youve already shown yourself to be untrustwor-

    thy. said Xavier.

    The fact that we havent killed you both, as much as my new friend there would like to put a bullet in

    your head, or that we didnt leave you out there to be eaten should be trust enough. pointed Marl.

    Now lower your weapons so we may start this discussion

    Nodding to his sergeant, Xavier lowered his pistol. What is your proposition?

    You help us get to their ship and then you get to leave with us and get off this planet. said Marl.

    Sure, and as soon as we get you to the rebel ship, theyll just put a bullet in our backs responded

    Xavier.

    Listen Enforcer yelled Cratch, If I give my word its as good as gold, not like the word of a corporate

    stooge whos every word is a lie

    Rebel scum yelled Xavier starting to raise his arm.

    HOLD yelled Kring, What is the matter with everyone. Were on the verge of being eaten alive and

    all you two can do is think about killing yourselves. I dont have any love of the corporations but I

    know that we NEED to work together or well never get off this planet. Well never get see our fami-

    lies. On my planet, tomorrow is Kaledu. It is where all my hatchlings and their mates return to cele-

    brate family. I do not, I will not miss this because your hatreds cannot see the direness of our situa-

    tion.

    Xavier sighed lowering his arm, We too have a day like that Sorak. It is also tomorrow and its called

    Christmas. I also do not wish to miss it. How about you rebel? Do you wish to get home before

    Christmas? I swear to not betray you.

    Cratch stared at the Enforcer a few moments longer before sighing. Fine, well work together like

    Kring wants. My ship is just on the other side of that warehouse. If we get there, Ill drop you and the

    Orc off at the nearest port. You have my word.

    Great Lets head out. said Marl

    Objecve: The team of 5 players must work together in an aempt to escape the infested rubble of Nateev City.

    The city has been overrun by hordes of infected Plague Zombies and your not equipped for a pro-longed ght.

    Player Victory: The players must get at least 1 member of their team to the extracon point to start the ship.

    Plague Victory: The Plague have killed all of the players or stopped them from geng to the extracon point

    before the game has ended in 10 turns.

    Deployment Layout

    Setup: Place a large ruined building

    in the boom right 16 squares, this

    will represent the government

    building where the players will

    begin.

    Scaer 8-10 small to medium size

    ruined structures, and as many bar-

    ricade style terrain features across

    the rest of the playing eld as you

    would like.

    Place a suitable marker to be the

    extracon point for the players in

    the upper le square.

    Deployment: Each of the 5 playermodels will begin the game in one

    of the squares occupied by the ru-

    ined government building (shown in

    the map to the right).

    Mark 4 zombie spawning points as shown to the right, these will remain in these squares for the rest of

    the game. Spawning points do not occupy any spaces in the squares they are placed.

    This scenario will start with 30 zombies scaered throughout the city ruins. Try to space these out so

    that the board feels overrun by the zombie hoard!

    PLAGUE STAGE 3Z

    The shambling hordes of this strain of the plague are slow, dim-

    wied but make up for this with their sheer numbers and desire

    to feed!

    Use the stat card shown to the right for all combat and game ac-

    ons that may come up. Stage 3Zdo not use weapons and will

    never benet from cover, but do receive the following bonuses:

    HORDE

    A Horde model in a Fight gets a +1 dice modier andAP1 per

    friendly Horde model in the same cube, not just +1 dice for any

    number of friends.

    Plague Movement

    The mindless Plague 3Z do not move normally,

    use the following opons below to move the

    Plague.

    If the acve model enters a new cube by any means all zombies that have Area LOS to the new

    cube will Move 1 cube towards it.

    If the acve model uses a Shoot or Blaze Away acon all zombies within 3 cubes will Move 1

    cube towards the model. As the zombies are reacng to the sound the do not need LOS.

    If a zombie moves into a cube with an enemy the zombie will ght one enemy in the cube.

    Move all zombies before resolving combat.

    Spawning Points: Aer all of the players have been acvated for the turn, check and see if there

    are any mercenary models within 2 cubes of a Spawn-ing Point. If there is, Roll 4 D8s, any die roll of a

    5+ will result in one Zombie being spawned. Zombies will be placed in an adjacent cube of the spawn

    point that is also closest to an enemy model. If the cube is full, nd the nearest empty cube.

    The Players

    The players listed above will be used for this scenario. Each player will choose one to command during the

    game and use their own facon Bale Deck. Feel free to use any Deadzone model or character for your

    games, mix and match dierent models for a completely new game experience!!
