Locking position of thelock release button

Operation of lock release button to mount the Disk drive:

Hold the handle and insert the Disk drive withoutapplying another operation to it.Insert it until the lock release button is latched atthe locking position.

Operation of lock release button to removethe Disk drive:

You can remove the Disk drive by shifting the lockrelease button in the arrow direction (downward)and holding it there, and then pulling the handletoward you.

3) Firmware 설치

Insert Initial Setup Disk.

Power off.

Is the WARNING LED blinking? (It blinks when there is an existing

microprogram.)

Power on.

(The FDD LED blinks. It shows the request for starting the installation.)

Press the TRACE SW/BUZZER OFF SW.

Pull off the Initial Setup Disk.

Do you want to install it although the subsystem parameters

(configuration information such as the RAID group and LU) will be

deleted.

If the buzzer beeps, press the TRACE SW/BUZZER OFF SW. (The buzzer will stop beeping.)

Pull off the Initial Setup Disk.

3) Firmware 설치

Insert the MICRO_Disk_No.1.

Press the TRACE SW.BUZZER OFF SW.

(The WARNING LED goes out and the FDD LED cones on. It chows

that the installation is in progress.)

Indication of the FDD and the WARNING LEDs charges.

Install the nest FD.

Pull off the FD.

The FDD LED blinks. (The WARNING LED does not blink.)

The FDD LED blinks. (The WARNING LED does not blink.)

Pull off the FD. The installation is

completed.

Pull off the FD. The recovery Procedure varies depending on the status of the LEDs(FDD, WARNING, and ALARM LEDs) at

this time.

The WARNING LED slow(interval of one second) blinking.
