↑I  made  the  front  cover  look  simple  because  the  actual  magazine  cover  was  mostly  simple.      

↑Color  burned  by  light  blue  and  red.  The  opacity  was  about  30%  to  make  it  look  clear.    

 Image  2  This  is  the  idea  that  I  didn’t  use  because  it  didn’t  look  realistic  and  was  odd.  The  fire  was  made  by  FilterRenderLens  flare.  Then  I  did  FilterDistortTwirl    and  made  the  lens  flare  into  a  spiral.  Then  I  used  FilterLiquify and  made  the  twirled  spiral  into  a  fire  shape.  The  color  was  pinkish  purple  so  I  wanted  to  change  color.  In  order  to  that,  I  used  the  color  balance.  I  changed  the  midtones  into  highlights,  the  color  level  to  63red,  36green  and  -­‐36  Yellow.

How  to  make  smoke↓

This  is  a  picture  with  blue  smokes  and  a  quote  added  on  the  top  of  image  3.  The  big  quote  was  put  there  because  actual  magazines  have  about  two  quotes  on  the  front  cover  so  I  put  one.  I  added  the  smokes  on  top  because  I  wanted  it  look  like  the  disappeared  Earth  has  burned  away,  and  smokes  coming  out  from  it.  The  smoke  was  made  by  lasso  tool.  I  made  a  random  shape  and  filled  it  in  with  light  blue  color,  then  used  FilterBlurGaussian  blur  and  made  the  blur  to  maximum    I  then  went  to    FilterLiquify  and  then  the  blurry  light  blue  look  like  a  smoke.
