STEP 1: Attention-Grabbing Beginning Grab attention with a startling detail,
anecdote, or quote Use lively language Make the purpose clear Include a clear thesis

Step 2: Body State each step in process Link the steps with transitions such as, first,
next, once, after, and finally. Follow a clear organizational pattern. For
steps in a process, chronological order is the most logical.

Explanation
Process speech is actually acted out, so your visual aid may need to be demonstrated through PowerPoint, a video that YOU made, or by bringing the materials into class.
Practice
Practice in front of friends and family for feedback
Imitating a speaker you admire can help build confidence
Avoid monotonous speaking Monitor pitch, volume, rhythm Try taping your speech with a phone or laptop
