理学系研究科 サイエンスホール（A12棟） Dr. Wu Jinchuan is a Senior Scientist and Head of the Industrial Biotechnology (IB) Division at the Institute of Chemical & Engineering Sciences (ICES), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) of Singapore. He got his PhD from Tianjin University of China in 1994 and had once worked in Kanazawa University of Japan as an Associate Professor from 1998 to 2000 and in Tianjin University as a full Professor before he joined ICES in 2002. His current research of interest includes biomass conversion to fuels and chemicals, microbial fermentation, protein engineering, metabolic engineering and bioprocess development. He has over 100 publications in peer-viewed international journals and 11 filed or granted patents. He serves as an Associate Editor for Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry (Wiley), Editorial Board for Bioresources and Bioprocessing (Springer), Vice President for Bioenergy Society of Singapore (BESS), Executive Committee for Singapore Catalysis Society (SCS) and a paper reviewer for over 40 international journals.
