Emerson reschedules the plan with the new supply chain planning supplied constrained
dates and compares against the user baseline. He sees that that the supply chain dates
supplied have pushed the project out. He now needs to evaluate if he can compress the
schedule for activities to compensate for the material coming in later than requested.
The transfer optionally uses a “Start On Or Before” constraint or a “Finish On Or After
Constraint” so that Emerson can see the impact of forward or backward scheduling the
material on the project plan.

An alert informs me that a delivery is delayed and the material will not meet my need by date for the project task.
From the command center, I can also see my work queue for the procurement plan and other key measures I may need to manage the planning and execution of the plan to meet my project’s objectives.

Using the charts in the Schedule tab, I can apply a filter and see the procurement status of tasks due to start next month. It looks like one of the tasks does not have all materials delivered and received.
I can check the status of the plan line for this item and I see that the supplier is not able to deliver on-time and given a promise date that is a month late

By adjusting the date range filter, my chart now shows tasks due to start in the next two months. I can see another similar task is ready to start.
I can select the tasks I want to adjust and the Update Multiple Tasks option, right from the Procurement Command Center to open and update the task schedule.

Once I apply the category filter, I can review the demand for items in the category for all of my assigned projects. The plan lines table has all of the information I need to determine the criteria I will need to identify the best suppliers.
Once I’ve reviewed the planning information, I use the Analyze Suppliers action link to start finding the best suppliers.
