Eric had worked at design director level with Nike, Reebok, Li Ning and Skechers. He has over 20 years

field experience in apparel design. From 2017, he has started his own brand "Velofreak" specializing in cycling sportswear and related accessories. He is an expert in trend analysis, graphics, fit, retail and fashion illustrations. He has attained a Master Degree in Design Strategies from the Hong Kong PolyU.

Eric Leung, Lecturer

Paul is the Regional Managing Director of Mainetti Group (the global leader in hanger and packaging

products) with over 25 years‘ experience in servicing retailers, brands and vendor community. Paul has a MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and is the Vice President of Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council. Paul has actively participated in various education movement in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Christine has over 30 years of experience in sourcing and merchandising for global apparel business for

markets of US, Canada, UK and Asia and she is an expert in holistic category operation including strategic plan, trend forecast, budget planning, and product development. She worked for global companies such as Walmart, Sears, The Gap, MAST Industry.

Chen Chieh was graduated from the Hong Kong Polytech and obtained M.Sc in Technological

Economics. He has been in the textile and apparel industries for over 40 years working in multi sectors from spinning to garment manufacturing. He also has widened experience working with brands in multi-functions from technical to development. Chen Chieh is now the Senior Director of Technical & Raw Materials of Knits in Gap International Sourcing.

Raymond Au M.H. is currently the Director of Fashion Farm Foundation, and industry called him the

‘Godfather of Fashion” as he always contribute to help designers fulfill their dreams. Prof Au attained his MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins. He developed a great passion for fashion illustration in UK, and had exhibited his works in renowned fairs like Pitti Filati, Italy. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Prof Au's areas of expertise include Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration, Historic Fashion, Fashion Semiology and Product Development. Prof Au has built close links with fashion institutions in most parts of the world, and also both local and international industry and professional bodies.

Being a Managing Director at Top Form International Limited (one of the leading OEM brassiere

manufacturers globally), Kenneth has over 20 years of experience in the intimate apparel industry. Kenneth has actively participated in many advisory committees including the Chairman of HKIAIA, Advisory Committee for Institute of Textile & Clothing of PolyU and Garment Advisory Committee for HKTDC while he also received the Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong by FHKI in 2016.

Wendy holds a Bachelor degree in textile engineering from Donghua University and a Master in Global

fashion management from HK PolyU. She has over 25 years of work experience, including product development, yarn and fabric processing & manufacturing, and technical marketing of Lycra®, Tactel® and coolmax® etc at DuPont/Invista, apparel R&D in Li-Ning, product development, vendor development and quality assurance at Fruit of Looms.

Wendy Lai, Guest Lecturer

Before joining the academic workforce, Ho Tak has worked as fashion and product designers in the

sportswear sectors globally, including International groups such as Reebok - Adidas group (Boston, US), Pentland Group (London, UK) and Li Ning Sports (Beijing, China). His expertise knowledge in sports fashion and technical active sportswear came from his 8 years of working experiences on designing sports fashion and technical active apparels and products while conducting seasonal market research globally, designing and styling technical uniforms for various national teams during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Ho Tak got a Master of Arts in Fashion and Textiles Design from the Hong Kong PolyU after he studied Art & Design (Fashion Communication & Promotion) from Central St. Martins College of Art & Design in London.
