The high strength glass roving is used for reinforcing epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin.

Woven Roving

Woven Roving

Details

Woven roving is made of roving drawn from big bushings. It is mainly used in hand and machine

production. The typical products include boats, storage tanks, large sheets and panels, furniture, etc.

Characteristics:

1. Even thickness, no fuzz, no stain

2. Fast wet-out, products with high strength, little loss for strength in damp situation

Fiberglass chopped strands for the reinforcement of thermoplastics is produced by

cutting continuous filament strands into a specific length. The product then

receives a plastic sizing specially designed for the reinforcement of thermoplastics.

It is intended for the extrusion and compounding of reinforced

thermoplastics granules for injection moulding. The suitable resins are PA6, PA6.6,

PET, PC, PS, ABS and SAN.

Specifications

• Available in E-Glass and C-Glass

• Filament diameter 11 and 13 microns.

• Cut length - 3,4,5 and 6mm (3/32", 5/32", 3/16" and 1/4") Other cut lengths on request.

• 20ft container loads about 15 metric tonnes (33,075 lbs)

Fiberglass chopped strands for the reinforcements of thermoset

(BMC) is used as a reinforcement in thermoset molding compounds to

produce molded parts for electrical, mechanical and chemical-resistant

applications. Suitable resins include Polyester, BMC, etc.

Combo Mat is made by cutting the continuous roving to 50mm in length and undirectionally drop on the

woven roving. And knitted together by organic fiber. It??s compatible with UP, Vinyl ester, phenolic and

density, high strength; with regular interspacing, benefit to resin flow and impregation; Excellent stability,

Details

High silica fiberglass fabric is a kind of high temperature resistance, inorganic fiber. Its softening point is

closely 1700 and it can be used under 900 situation for a long time and also be used for the rocket, the

missile, the thermal insulation of spacecrafts, ablative materials, high temperature-proof materials and

high temperature-resistant insulation materials. The content of SiO2 is more than 96% and the weight lost

of ignition is less than 3%. It has two kinds of structure, plain weave and satin weave. The thickness is

0.1-1.5mm.

directions with different desities . Then they are stitched by terylene thread . Such fabric with mesh

structure is Multiaxial Fabric which is briefly called MWK . It??s compatible with UP , Vinyl ester and

Epoxy etc.

Product Characteristics

Because we can use different rovings with different densities and different materials to make the layers ,

the mechanical property of different directions is not the same . The main feature of Multiaxial Fabric is

that it can hold different weights . The width can be adjusted . The roving density and the tension are both

high . The finished products have high tension and light weight .
