•The object was to strengthen public enlightenment in general and to work for public acceptance of the ideals of the UN.

FO-Århus offers evening classes for adults in eg. foreign languages, history, Danish and foreign literature, psychology, astrology, handiwork, cooking, music, singing.

• Services to offer unemployed people support and new opportunities•Education of immigrants supporting their integration into Danish society•“Green guide” projects about environmental issues


•The aim of the Green guides work is to raise public awareness about nature and environmental matters like climate changes, air pollution, garbage, pesticides etc. •Like all other projects with FO-Århus, the Green guides arrange events to make the information more lively and attractive to a broad audience.

The organization ”Soroptimists” invited people to taste bread and carrots and explained how important it is to reduce the consumption of meat
