OPERATING PRECAUTIONSThis­is­a­propane,­direct-fired,­forced­air­heater.­It's­intended­use­is­primarily­temporary­heating­of­buildings­under­construction,­alteration­or­repair.

Propane­is­heavier­than­air.­If­propane­leaks­from­a­connection­or­fitting,­it­sinks­to­the­floor,­collecting­there­with­the­surrounding­air,­forming­a­potentially­explosive­mixture.­Obviously,­propane­leaks­should­be­avoided,­so­set­up­the­propane­supply­with­utmost­care.­Read­enclosed­Odor­Fade­and­Propane­Sheet­for­additional­information­about­detecting­propane­leaks.­Leak­check­new­connections­or­reconnections­with­a­soap­and­water­solution­and­follow­all­connection­instructions­herein.­Also,­ask­your­propane­dealer­for­advice­on­the­propane­application­and­supply­installation­and­ask­him­to­check­it­if­there­are­any­questions.

This­heater­was­designed­and­certified­for­use­as­a­construction­heater­in­accordance­with­ANSI­Z83.7/CGA­2.14.­Check­with­your­local­fire­safety­authority­if­you­have­any­questions­about­your­applications.­Other­standards­govern­the­use­of­fuel­gases­and­heat­producing­products­in­specific­applications.­Your­local­authority­can­advise­you­about­these.

Direct-Fired­means­that­all­of­the­combustion­products­enter­the­heated­space.­Even­though­this­heater­operates­very­close­to­100­percent­combustion­efficiency,­it­still­produces­small­amounts­of­carbon­monoxide.­Carbon­monoxide­(called­CO)­is­toxic.­We­can­tolerate­small­amounts­but­not­a­lot.­CO­can­build­up­in­a­heated­space­and­failure­to­provide­adequate­ventilation­could­result­in­death.­The­symptoms­of­inadequate­ventilation­are:

7.­ IMPORTANT­Use­only­the­hose­and­regulator­assembly­provided­with­the­heater.­Match­the­color­stripe­on­the­hangtag­attached­to­the­hose­assembly­with­the­color­on­the­label­located­near­the­propane­inlet­fitting­on­the­heater.­Inspect­hose­assembly­before­each­use­of­the­heater.­If­there­is­excessive­abrasion­or­wear,­or­hose­is­cut,­replace­with­hose­assembly­listed­on­parts­list­before­using­heater.

Since Propane (LP) is heavier than air you should smell for the gas odor low to the floor. ANY GAS ODOR IS YOUR SIGNAL TO GO INTO IMMEDIATE ACTION!­ •­Do­not­take­any­action­that­could­ignite­the­fuel­gas.­Do­

not­operate­any­electrical­switches.­Do­not­disconnect­any­power­supply­or­extension­cords.­Do­not­light­matches­or­any­other­source­of­flame.­Do­not­use­your­telephone.

­ •­Get­everyone­out­of­the­building­and­away­from­the­area­immediately.

­ •­Close­all­propane­(LP)­gas­tank­or­cylinder­fuel­supply­valves,­or­the­main­fuel­supply­valve­located­at­the­meter­if­you­use­natural­gas.

­ •­Propane­(LP)­gas­is­heavier­than­air­and­may­settle­in­low­areas.­When­you­have­reason­to­suspect­a­propane­leak,­keep­out­of­all­low­areas.

­ •­Use­your­neighbor’s­phone­and­call­your­fuel­gas­supplier­and­your­fire­department.­Do­not­re-enter­the­building­or­area.

­ •­Stay­out­of­the­building­and­away­from­the­area­until­declared­safe­by­the­firefighters­and­your­fuel­gas­supplier.

ODOR FADING ‑ NO ODOR DETECTED •­Some­people­cannot­smell­well.­Some­people­cannot­

smell­the­odor­of­the­man-made­chemical­added­to­propane­(LP)­or­natural­gas.­You­must­determine­if­you­can­smell­the­odorant­in­these­fuel­gases.

­ •­Learn­to­recognize­the­odor­of­propane­(LP)­gas­and­natural­gas.­Local­propane­(LP)­gas­dealers­will­be­more­than­happy­to­give­you­a­scratch­and­sniff­pamphlet.­Use­it­to­become­familiar­with­the­fuel­gas­odor.

­ •­Smoking­can­decrease­your­ability­to­smell.­Being­around­an­odor­for­a­period­of­time­can­affect­your­sensitivity­to­that­particular­odor.­Odors­present­in­animal­confinement­buildings­can­mask­fuel­gas­odor.

•­The odorant in propane (LP) gas and natural gas is colorless and the intensity of its odor can fade under some circumstances.

­ •­If­there­is­an­underground­leak,­the­movement­of­gas­through­the­soil­can­filter­the­odorant.

­ •­Propane­(LP)­gas­odor­may­differ­in­intensity­at­different­levels.­Since­Propane­(LP)­gas­is­heavier­than­air,­there­may­be­more­odor­at­lower­levels.

•Alwaysbesensitivetotheslightestgasodor.If­you­continue­to­detect­any­gas­odor,­no­matter­how­small,­treat­it­as­a­serious­leak.­Immediately­go­into­action­as­discussed­previously.

ATTENTION ‑ CRITICAL POINTS TO REMEMBER! ­ •­Propane­(LP)­gas­has­a­distinctive­odor.­Learn­to­

recognize­these­odors.­(Reference­Fuel­Gas­Odor­and­Odor­Fading­sections­above.

­ •­Even­If­you­are­not­property­trained­in­the­service­and­repair­of­the­heater,­ALWAYS­be­consciously­aware­of­the­odors­of­propane­(LP)­gas­and­natural­gas.

­ •­If­you­have­not­been­properly­trained­in­repair­and­service­of­propane­(LP)­gas­then­do­not­attempt­to­light­heater,­perform­service­or­repairs,­or­make­any­adjustments­to­the­heater­on­the­propane­(LP)­gas­fuel­system.

­ •­A­periodic­sniff­test­around­the­heater­or­at­the­heater’s­joints;­i.e.­hose,­connections,­etc.,­is­a­good­safety­practice­under­any­conditions.­If­you­smell­even­a­small­amount­of­gas,­CONTACT­YOUR­FUEL­GAS­SUPPLIER­IMMEDIATELY.­DO­NOT­WAIT!

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

1.­ The­heater­should­be­inspected­before­each­use,­and­at­least­annually­by­a­qualified­person.

2.­ Before­each­use,­check­the­soft­"O"­ring­seal­at­the­bullnose­of­the­POL­fitting.­If­the­"O"­ring­is­cut,­scuffed,­or­otherwise­damaged,­replace­it­with­part­number­73786.

3.­ Turn­off­the­gas­at­the­LP-gas­supply­cylinder(s)­when­the­heater­is­not­in­use.

4.­ When­the­heater­is­to­be­stored­indoors,­the­connection­between­the­LP-gas­supply­cylinder(s)­and­the­heater­must­be­disconnected­and­the­cylinder(s)­removed­from­the­heater­and­stored­out­of­doors­and­in­accordance­with­Chapter­5­of­the­standard­for­Storage­and­Handling­of­Liquefied­Petroleum­Gases­ANSI/NFPA­58­and­CSA­B149.1,­Natural­Gas­and­Propane­Installation­Code.

SERVICINGA­hazardous­condition­may­result­if­a­heater­is­used­that­has­been­modified­or­is­not­functioning­properly.­When­the­heater­is­working­properly:

•­ The­flame­is­contained­within­the­heater.

•­ The­flame­is­essentially­blue­with­perhaps­some­yellow­tipping.

•­ There­is­no­strong­disagreeable­odor,­eye­burning­or­other­physical­discomfort.

•­ There­is­no­smoke­or­soot­internal­or­external­to­the­heater.

•­ There­are­no­unplanned­or­unexplained­shut­downs­of­the­heater.

The­parts­lists­and­wiring­diagram­show­the­heater­as­it­was­constructed.­Do­not­use­a­heater­which­is­different­from­that­shown.­In­this­regard,­use­only­the­hose,­regulator­and­cylinder­connection­fitting­(called­a­POL­fitting)­supplied­with­the­heater.­IMPORTANT­Match­the­color­stripe­on­the­hangtag­attached­to­the­hose­assembly­with­the­color­on­the­label­located­near­the­propane­inlet­fitting­on­the­heater.­Do­not­use­alternates.­For­this­heater,­the­regulator­must­be­set­as­shown­in­"specifications".­If­there­is­any­uncertainty­about­the­regulator­setting,­have­it­checked.

A­heater­which­is­not­working­right­must­be­repaired,­but­only­by­a­trained,­experienced­service­person.

In-warranty­products­will­be­repaired­with­no­charge­for­either­parts­or­labor.­Please­include­a­brief­statement­indicating­date,­place­of­purchase,­the­nature­of­the­problem­and­proof­of­purchase.

Out-of-warrranty­products­will­be­repaired­with­a­charge­for­parts­and­labor.

HEATER ELEVATION ADJUSTMENTThis heater is equipped with an elevation adjustment panel located at the exhaust end of the control box.

1. Do not adjust the heater combustion tube elevation while heater is running or hot. Adjustments to elevation should only be made after the heater has cooled to touch.

2. To adjust the heater combustion tube elevation, turn the adjustment screw knob counterclockwise and lift the combustion tube to desired position.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSPREPARING FOR OPERATION

1.­ Check­the­heater­for­possible­shipping­damage.­If­any­is­found,­immediately­notify­the­factory.

2.­ Follow­all­of­the­"Precautions".­

3.­ Connect­the­POL­fitting­of­hose­and­regulator­assembly­to­the­propane­cylinder­by­rotating­the­POL­nut­counterclockwise­into­the­propane­cylinder's­valve­outlet­and­securely­tighten­with­a­wrench.

4.­ Connect­the­hose­to­the­heater­by­rotating­the­hose­fitting­clockwise.

5.­ Securely­tighten­all­gas­connections.

6.­ Open­the­cylinder's­gas­valve­and­check­all­gas­connections­with­a­soap­and­water­solution.­DO­NOT­USE­A­FLAME.

7.­ Connect­power­cord­to­well-grounded­115V,­60­Hz,­1Ø­source­of­power.

8.­ When­using­an­extension­cord,­make­certain­that­it­is­a­3-wire­(grounded)­cord­of­proper­wire­size.

START

1.­ Before­heater­ignition,­always­allow­heater­fan­(blower)­to­run­for­20­seconds­to­purge­fuel.

2.­ Slowly­open­the­main­valve­at­propane­cylinder.

3.­ Depress­the­fuel­valve­button­to­light­the­heater.

4.­ After­the­heater­lights,­keep­the­gas­valve­button­depressed­for­15­seconds­then­release­and­the­heater­will­continue­to­operate.

5.­ Adjust­burn­rate­by­setting­control­knob­to­desired­level.

6.­ Igniter­continues­to­fire­as­long­as­power­cord­is­plugged­in.

­ a)­Igniter­sparks­continually.

7.­ No­thermostat­usable­with­these­units.

STOP

1.­ Securely­close­valve­on­the­propane­cylinder.

2.­ Continue­to­operate­heater­until­all­fuel­in­the­hose­has­burned.

3.­ Unplug­the­power­cord.

RESTART AFTER SAFETY SHUTDOWN

1.­ Securely­close­valve­at­propane­cylinder.­Unplug­heater.

2.­ Wait­5­minutes.

ENTRETIEN ET ENTREPOSAGE1.­ L'appareil­de­chauffage­doit­être­vérifié­avant­chaque­utilisation­

et­au­moins­une­fois­par­année­par­un­technicien­qualifié.

2.­ Avant­chaque­utilisation,­vérifiez­l'assise­du­joint­torique­souple­à­la­partie­arrondie­du­raccord­POL­(filet­à­gauche).­Si­le­joint­torique­est­coupé,­usé­ou­endommagé­de­quelque­façon,­remplacez-le­par­la­pièce­#­73786.

3.­ Coupez­l'alimentation­en­gaz­propane­liquéfié­quand­l'appareil­n'est­pas­utilisé.

4.­ Quand­l'appareil­de­chauffage­est­rangé­à­l'intérieur,­la­connexion­entre­la­bonbonne­d'alimentation­en­gaz­propane­liquéfié­et­l'appareil­doit­être­débranchée­et­la­bonbonne­doit­être­retirée­de­l'appareil­et­rangée­à­l'extérieur,­tel­que­précisé­au­chapitre­5­de­la­norme­relative­au­rangement­et­à­la­manutention­des­produits­de­pétrole­liquéfiés­ANSI/NFPA­58­et­CSA­B149.1­du­Code­d'installation­du­gaz­naturel­et­du­gaz­propane.

La­liste­des­pièces­et­le­schéma­de­câblage­présentent­l'appareil­de­chauffage­tel­qu'il­a­été­construit.­N'utilisez­pas­un­appareil­de­chauffage­qui­diffère­de­ce­qui­est­illustré.­N'utilisez­à­cet­effet­que­le­tuyau,­le­régulateur­et­le­raccord­de­bonbonne­(appelé­raccord­POL)­fournis­avec­l'appareil­de­chauffage.­IMPORTANT : Faire­correspondre­la­bande­de­couleur­de­l'étiquette­fixée­au­tuyau­à­la­couleur­de­l'étiquette­située­près­du­raccord­d'entrée­de­gaz­propane.­N'utilisez­aucun­élément­de­substitution.­Sur­cet­appareil­de­chauffage,­le­régulateur­doit­être­réglé­tel­qu'indiqué­à­la­rubrique­«­Spécifications­».­Si­vous­avez­un­doute­au­sujet­du­réglage­du­régulateur,­faites-le­vérifier.

RÉGLAGEENHAUTEURDEL‘APPAREILDECHAUFFAGECet­appareil­est­équipé­d’un­panneau­de­réglage­en­hauteur­situé­à­l’extrémité­de­l’échappement­du­boîtier­de­contrôle.

1.­ Ne­pas­régler­la­hauteur­du­tube­de­combustion­de­l’appareil­de­chauffage­quand­l’appareil­est­en­marche­ou­est­encore­chaud.­Les­réglages­de­hauteur­ne­doit­être­faits­qu’après­que­le­chauffage­soit­froid­au­toucher.

2.­ Pour­régler­la­hauteur­du­tube­de­combustion­de­l’appareil­de­chauffage,­tournez­le­bouton­de­la­vis­de­réglage­dans­le­sens­anti-horaire­et­soulevez­le­tube­de­combustion­à­la­position­désirée.

INSTRUCTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENTAVANT LE FONCTIONNEMENT1.­ Vérifiez­soigneusement­tout­dommage­qu'aurait­pu­subir­

l'appareil­de­chauffage­pendant­l'expédition.­Si­vous­en­découvrez,­avertissez­immédiatement­le­fabricant.

2.­ Respectez­toutes­les­«­Précautions­».­­

3.­ Branchez­le­raccord­POL­(filet­à­gauche)­du­tuyau­et­du­régulateur­en­tournant­l'écrou­POL­en­sens­anti-horaire­dans­la­sortie­du­robinet­de­la­bonbonne­de­gaz­propane,­puis­serrez-le­avec­une­clé.

4.­ Raccordez­le­tuyau­à­l'appareil­de­chauffage­en­tournant­le­raccord­en­sens­horaire.

5.­ Serrez­fermement­toutes­les­connexions­de­gaz.

6.­ Ouvrez­le­robinet­de­gaz­de­la­bonbonne­et­vérifiez­toutes­les­connexions­au­moyen­d'un­mélange­d'eau­et­de­savon.­N'UTILISEZ­PAS­DE­FLAMME.

7.­ Raccordez­le­cordon­d'alimentation­à­une­source­d'alimentation­électrique­de­115­V,­60­Hz,­1­Ø,­mise­à­la­terre­correctement.

8.­ Lorsque­vous­utilisez­une­rallonge­électrique,­assurez-vous­que­celle-ci­comporte­trois­fils­(mis­à­la­terre)­de­dimension­appropriée.

DÉMARRAGE

1.­ Avant­d'allumer­l'appareil­de­chauffage,­laissez­toujours­le­ventilateur­de­l'appareil­fonctionner­pendant­20­secondes­pour­éliminer­le­gaz­combustible.

2.­ Ouvrez­lentement­le­robinet­principal­de­la­bouteille­de­propane.

3.­ Enfoncez­le­bouton­du­robinet­de­gaz­pour­allumer­le­chauffage.

4.­ Une­fois­le­brûleur­allumé,­gardez­le­bouton­du­robinet­de­gaz­enfoncé­pendant­15­secondes­avant­de­le­relâcher,­et­l'appareil­de­chauffage­restera­en­fonction.

5.­ Réglez­le­taux­de­combustion­avec­le­clapet­à­bille­au­réglage­souhaité.

6.­ L'allumeur­fonctionne­tant­que­le­cordon­d'alimentation­est­branché

­ a)­L'allumeur­est­continuellement­en­marche

7.­ Aucun­thermostat­n'est­disponible­pour­ces­unités.

ARRÊT

1.­ Fermez­le­robinet­sur­la­bonbonne­de­gaz­propane.

2.­ Laissez­l'appareil­fonctionner­jusqu'à­ce­que­tout­le­gaz­dans­le­tuyau­ait­brûlé.

3.­ Débranchez­le­cordon­d'alimentation.

REDÉMARRAGEAPRÈSUNARRÊTD'URGENCE

1.­ Fermez­complètement­le­robinet­sur­la­bonbonne­de­gaz­propane.­Débranchez­l'appareil­de­chauffage.

2.­ Attendez­cinq­minutes.

3.­ Recommencez­la­procédure­«­Démarrage­».

PRECAUCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTOEste­calentador­funciona­mediante­aire­forzado,­propano­y­calor­directo.­Fue­diseñado­para­ser­usado­principalmente­para­calefaccionar­edificios­que­se­estén­construyendo,­reformando­o­reparando.

3.­ Utilice­sólo­gas­propano.

4.­ Utilice­sólo­suministro­de­propano­con­EXTRACCIÓN­DE­VAPOR.­Si­tuviera­alguna­duda­acerca­de­la­extracción­de­vapor,­consulte­a­su­vendedor­de­propano.

5.­ Coloque­los­cilindros­de­propano­verticalmente­(con­la­válvula­de­cierre­hacia­arriba).­Sujételos­para­evitar­que­se­caigan­o­se­volteen,­y­protéjalos­para­que­no­se­dañen.

6.­ Ubique­los­contenedores­de­propano­al­menos­a­(EE.­UU.)­ 2,13m­(7­ft),­(Canadá)­3­m­(10­ft)­del­calentador,­y­no dirija­ el­escape­hacia­los­contenedores.

­ •­Aprenda­a­reconocer­el­olor­del­gas­licuado­propano­y­del­gas­natural.­Los­vendedores­de­gas­licuado­propano­gustosamente­le­facilitarán­un­panfleto­para­raspar­y­oler.­Úselo­para­reconocer­el­olor­al­gas­combustible.

­ •­Fumar­puede­disminuir­su­capacidad­de­reconocer­olores.­Permanecer­rodeado­de­un­olor­determinado­por­un­período­de­tiempo­puede­afectar­su­sensibilidad­a­ese­olor­en­particular.­Los­olores­presentes­en­edificios­donde­permanecen­encerrados­animales­pueden­ocultar­el­olor­al­gas­combustible.

MANTENIMIENTO Y ALMACENAJE

1.­ El­calentador­debe­ser­inspeccionado­antes­de­cada­uso­y­por­una­persona­calificada­al­menos­una­vez­al­año.

2.­ Antes­de­cada­uso,­controle­el­sello­hermético­de­la­junta­tórica­ubicada­en­la­boquilla­de­unión­del­accesorio­POL.­Si­la­junta­tórica­está­cortada,­desgastada­o­dañada­de­alguna­manera,­reemplácela­con­la­pieza­número­73786.

3.­ Cierre­el­paso­de­gas­del­cilindro­de­suministro­de­gas­propano­mientras­el­calentador­no­esté­en­uso.

4.­ Si­el­calentador­se­almacenará­en­un­sitio­cerrado,­se­deben­desconectar­los­cilindros­de­suministro­de­gas­propano,­y­se­los­debe­colocar­fuera,­de­acuerdo­con­el­Capítulo­5­de­la­Norma­para­el­almacenamiento­y­el­suministro­de­gases­licuados­del­petróleo,­ANSI/NFPA­58­y­CSA­B149.1,­Código­de­instalación­de­gas­natural­y­propano.

MANTENIMIENTOUsar­un­calentador­que­ha­sido­modificado­o­que­no­funciona­debidamente­puede­generar­una­situación­peligrosa.­Si­el­calentador­funciona­correctamente:

•­ La­llama­permanece­dentro­del­calentador.

•­ La­llama­es­principalmente­azul,­quizá­con­algunas­puntas­amarillas.

•­ No­se­percibe­ningún­olor­desagradable,­irritación­en­los­ojos­ni­otro­tipo­de­molestia­física.

•­ No­se­acumula­humo­ni­hollín­dentro­ni­fuera­del­calentador.

•­ El­calentador­no­se­apaga­de­forma­sorpresiva­ni­inesperada.

Las­listas­de­piezas­y­el­diagrama­de­cableado­muestran­el­calentador­tal­como­fue­construido.­No­utilice­el­calentador­si­fuera­diferente­al­que­se­muestra­aquí.­A­su­vez,­use­sólo­la­manguera,­el­regulador­y­el­accesorio­de­conexión­al­cilindro­(llamado­accesorio­POL)­que­se­incluye­con­el­calentador.­IMPORTANTE: Haga­coincidir­la­tira­de­color­de­la­etiqueta­que­cuelga­del­ensamble­de­manguera­con­el­color­de­la­etiqueta­ubicada­cerca­de­la­conexión­de­entrada­de­propano­del­calentador.­No­utilice­elementos­alternativos.­En­este­calentador,­el­regulador­debe­configurarse­como­se­muestra­en­“especificaciones”.­Si­no­está­seguro­de­la­configuración­del­regulador,­haga­que­lo­controlen.Se­deben­reparar­los­calentadores­que­no­funcionen­debidamente,­pero­sólo­podrá­hacerlo­un­experto­en­mantenimiento­capacitado.Los­productos­que­estén­dentro­de­la­garantía­serán­reparados­sin­que­deba­pagarse­por­las­piezas­ni­por­la­mano­de­obra.­Incluya­una­breve­descripción­en­la­que­indique­la­fecha­y­el­lugar­en­que­realizó­la­compra,­la­naturaleza­del­problema­y­un­comprobante­de­compra.Los­productos­que­ya­no­estén­en­garantía­serán­reparados,­pero­se­cobrarán­las­piezas­y­la­mano­de­obra.

AJUSTEDELAELEVACIÓNDELCALENTADOREste­calentador­cuenta­con­un­panel­de­ajuste­de­la­elevación,­ubicado­en­el­extremo­del­escape­de­la­caja­de­control.1.­ No­ajuste­la­elevación­del­tubo­de­combustión­del­calentador­

mientras­el­aparato­esté­funcionando­o­caliente.­Estos­ajustes­sólo­pueden­realizarse­una­vez­que­el­calentador­esté­frío­ al­tacto.

2.­ Para­ajustar­la­elevación­del­tubo­de­combustión,­gire­la­perilla­del­tornillo­de­ajuste­hacia­la­izquierda,­y­eleve­el­tubo­de­combustión­hasta­la­posición­deseada.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTOPREPARACIÓNPARAELFUNCIONAMIENTO

1.­ Controle­que­el­calentador­no­se­haya­dañado­durante­el­envío.­Si­hubiera­algún­daño,­notifique­de­inmediato­a­la­fábrica.

2.­ Respete­todas­las­“Precauciones”.­

3.­ Conecte­el­accesorio­POL­del­ensamble­de­manguera­y­de­regulador­al­cilindro­de­propano­girando­la­tuerca­POL­hacia­la­izquierda­dentro­de­la­salida­de­la­válvula­del­cilindro,­y­ajuste­bien­con­una­llave­de­tuercas.

4.­ Conecte­la­manguera­al­calentador­girando­la­conexión­de­la­manguera­hacia­la­derecha.

5.­ Ajuste­firmemente­todas­las­conexiones­de­gas.

6.­ Abra­la­válvula­de­gas­del­cilindro­y­controle­todas­las­conexiones­con­una­solución­de­agua­jabonosa.­NO­UTILICE­LLAMA.

7.­ Conecte­el­cable­a­un­suministro­de­energía­de­115­V,­60­Hz,­1Ø­debidamente­conectado­a­tierra.

8.­ Si­utiliza­un­cable­de­extensión,­asegúrese­de­que­sea­un­cable­de­tres­puntas­(conectado­a­tierra)­del­tamaño­adecuado.

ARRANQUE

1.­ Antes­de­encender­el­calentador,­deje­funcionar­el­ventilador­(soplador)­unos­20­segundos­para­que­se­purgue­el­combustible.

2.­ Abra­lentamente­la­válvula­principal­del­cilindro­de­propano.

3.­ Presione­el­botón­de­la­válvula­de­combustible­para­encender­el­calentador.

4.­ Una­vez­encendido­el­calentador,­mantenga­el­botón­de­la­válvula­de­gas­presionado­durante­15­segundos,­luego­suéltelo­y­el­calentador­seguirá­funcionando.

5.­ Ajuste­la­potencia­girando­la­perilla­de­control­hasta­el­nivel­deseado.

6.­ Mientras­el­cable­de­suministro­eléctrico­esté­conectado,­ el­encendedor­seguirá­funcionando.

­ a)­El­encendedor­echa­chispas­permanentemente.

7.­ Estas­unidades­no­incluyen­termostato.

PARO

1.­ Cierre­debidamente­la­válvula­del­cilindro­de­propano.

2.­ Mantenga­el­calentador­funcionando­hasta­que­se­haya­consumido­todo­el­combustible­de­la­manguera.

3.­ Desconecte­el­cable­de­suministro­eléctrico.

REINICIO LUEGO DE APAGADO DE SEGURIDAD

1.­ Cierre­debidamente­la­válvula­del­cilindro­de­propano.­Desenchufe­el­calentador.

2.­ Espere­5­minutos.

3.­ Reinicie­siguiendo­el­procedimiento­de­“Arranque”.
