Some students choose to “double up” and take Biology and Chemistry in 10th grade in order to make their 11th and 12th grade schedules available for as many honors science courses as offered.•Chemistry is not required for graduation, but many college programs, even at the 2-year level, may require Chemistry. Check college websites!!

being a 2nd level course.
