M  ĐẦU: GRE đã không còn xa l  vớ i các bn có hoài bão du hc M. Đây là mt tiêu chí quan tr ng khi xét tuyn vào các tr ườ ng Đại hc ti Hoa Kì. Hin nay ở VN, thông tin v thi GRE đã có nhiu, tài liu luyn thi GRE cũng r t phong phú. Các bn đã biết phi hc t vng theo Wordlist Barron, luyn đề trong BigBook, hc tactics trong r t nhiu sách ca Princeton, Kapland hay Barron. Tuy nhiên, có nh ng vn đề các bn mớ i hc GRE g p phi nhưng khó tìm l ờ i gii đượ c trong các giáo trình GRE qu c tế, như: - Hc GRE trong thờ i gian bao lâu là hợ  p lý? - Phươ ng pháp hc GRE hiu qu vớ i ngườ i VN? - Tâm lý trong phòng thi, cách phân b thờ i gian làm bài? Tài liu này tôi ghi li nhng kinh nghim thi GRE ca mình trong sut thờ i gian hc thi GRE vào tháng 10/2004. Tôi đã h c qua các chươ ng trình luyn GRE ở  CICTT - ĐHBK Hà Ni, l ớ  p hc GRE ở  EquestGroup, chươ ng trình luyn GRE ca Princeton dành cho các VEF fellows, c ũng như đã dy GRE ti Equest vào 1/2005.  đây có nhng thông tin khá độc đáo v  cách hc thi GRE, mt s  quy tc kinh nghim (hay đượ c gi bng mt cái tên m miu là “educated guess”) c a nhng ngườ i đã tng thi GRE, các li hay phm phi khi thi, và gii đáp mt s  th c mc th ườ ng g p ca các  bn hc GRE mà ngày xưa tôi cũng tng g p phi. Các thông tin chung v GRE các bn có th tìm thy ở  bt c đâu, nên không có ở  đây. Tài liu này cũng không phi là mt tài liu hướ ng dn hc GRE chun mc ; đây ch là phươ ng pháp hc GRE ca chính tôi, có th phù hợ  p vớ i các bn hoc không. Các bn nên tham kho, và áp dng th các phươ ng pháp hc khác nhau t  đó rút ra phươ ng pháp hc hiu qu cho riêng mình.
