Hey Kids!
Dear AVBians,
This summer vacations do not just sit idle and watch television let your creativity flourish
by indulging in some simple and yet fun filled activities. Parents are advised to guide and
motivate their young ones to complete their holiday’s task in a very organized manner.
Little ones, this is your chance to look after your grandparents, parents and even your
younger brothers and sisters. You can surely be of some help around the house, do
remember the four magical words – Please, Thank You, Sorry and Excuse Me to make
them a part of your personality. So, Enjoy, have fun and come back with a lot of
enthusiasm.

1. Holidays Homework of all the subjects should be done
in class notebooks.
2. Due importance should be given to Holidays Homework as all the activities will be
graded.

ENGLISH
1. Do loud reading of L-2 “A Lift to School” and L-3 “Froggie can Jump”.
2. Learn new words from L-2 and L-3 (See the list of Spell Drill).
3. Do five pages of cursive writing.
4. Do worksheets 4, 19 and 25 from “Learning Grammar the Fun Way”.
5. Imagine that one day on your way back from school a puppy follows you
home. The puppy is thin and dirty. It looks hungry. How will you take care
of it?
Now answer the following.
Which animals can be made as good pets?Paste pictures.
Which pet would you like in your “Home Sweet Home”?
What will you name it?
What will you give him to eat?
How will you keep him clean?
What games will you play with him?
6. Read lots of story books and children magazines to polish your reading
and speaking skills.
