How to Use Prezi

Open your browser


Type in prezi.com


Then hit the Enter key in your keyboard

You will be taken to their

website


Click Get Started


Then click Public to get a free account


You can now create your

own account


Type in your name

your e-mail address



and your password



Click this



then choose the kind of

job you have



For this tutorial, lets choose Education



Then click this



Choose from the options



Then click Create your free Public account



This is Prezis main menu



As you can see, there are

reusable designs available



You can either use them


Or click New Prezi to make a new one



Theres a lot of templates to choose from


But lets try making one from scratch

Click this to start using a

blank prezi


This is the prezi work editor


Lets now explore the page!


This is the main canvas


You put here everything

about your presentation


This is the home button


It shows the overview of

the presentation


And these are the zoom

buttons


You can also simply

zoom in and zoom out


using your mouses scroll wheel

To move your canvas from

left, right, up or down

Hold down the left button

of your mouse



Then move it to the

direction you want to go


Now, this is the frame


This is where you manage

your content


They are like slides in a

PowerPoint presentation

They come in a variety of

shapes and sizes


Lets try adding a rectangle frame by clicking this


then click again the frame


There goes your new

rectangle frame



Make it smaller or bigger



by clicking the plus or

minus sign



Or simply drag by clicking

You can also rotate by

clicking this


You can edit whatever you

put inside this frame


Just click Zoom to Frame


If you want to change the

frame type click this


Click the hand symbol in

the middle



or anywhere inside the box



And you will be able to drag

the frame anywhere


Lets now go to the menu above


This is the Undo button


the Redo button


the Save button


Insert button


The Customize button, that when you click


This will appear on the right

side


These are different themes

that you can choose from


Lets try clicking one


The theme changes instantly


This is the presentation

button


Click this


and you will see more options


This is for the view settings


This is the search button


And the save and exit

button


This on the lower right part


is the path editor


Now that weve already seen the prezi parts


Lets now start making our first prezi presentation!


Click on top for the

presentation title


And this will appear


Click here and write your

presentation a title


Lets change its color


Click any color you want


There goes your title


Click Insert


Then click Image


You can select from online

images


Just click here and type

the specific word


Or just insert images from your

saved files


Lets use the saved files instead


Click Select files


Select the file you want to

insert first


Or click Ctrl + A to select all

Then click Open


All the images will start

uploading


Lets now start arranging the pictures


Take one picture out of the

group


Click the image then start

editing it


Click and drag this to

make it bigger or smaller


Click above the picture


Write a picture description

here


Place the title in the center


By clicking on the title


and dragging it to the

center


It looks like this


Now lets put it inside a frame


Click Frame


Then a frame will appear


Resize the frame for the

image to fit in


Click any of the four edges

of the frame


and drag it to resize it


Arrange the picture inside

the circle


If you are satisfied with

how it looks like


Move on to the next

images


Follow the same procedure


in adding descriptions and

placing them inside frames


After arranging them all in

frames


Lets now edit the path or the presentation sequence


Click Edit Path


The order of the path

depends


on which frame you made

first


Lets add the title to the path


If I click on it, it becomes

the last path


You will see the sequence

here


If you want to make some

changes in the sequence


Lets say I want to put the first path


on the title


Go to where the title is


Hold down the left button

of your mouse



Then drag it all

the way up


Till it reaches number 1


Click Done when finished


You can now preview your

finished product


by clicking Present


Upon clicking it, it will show in

full screen


You will see these buttons

below


You click them to manually

start the presentation


If you want it to play

automatically


Click Autoplay


Then choose the number of

seconds for the interval


Congratulations! You now

have your first Prezi

presentation
