Nearly all Hult students arrive at LoganInternational Airport, located three miles romdowntown Boston and served by most majornational and international carriers.
You have several options or transportationrom Logan Airport:1. Taxi through the Callahan and Ted

Finding a Home
You will want to plan your arrival in Bostonto give yoursel enough time to get settledinto a home and make related arrangements.As thousands o students are in transition inBoston every year, available apartments are
oten taken very quickly. Using the internet tond apartments can be helpul.
We recommend that you arrive at least twoweeks beore your rst day o class so thatyou have time to explore your options beoremaking a decision. Anyone with additionalconcerns, such as selecting schools,arranging childcare or buying a car prior tothe start o classes, should give themselves
additional time. Participants with amilies areencouraged to visit Boston some months inadvance to secure an apartment and registertheir children or school.

Getting AroundThe best orm o transportation around theBoston-Cambridge area is the T, the oldestsubway system in the country. The T servesmost areas o the city and Cambridge, withseveral lines leading to the outlying suburbs.Unlike many American cities, Boston iscompact and can easily be covered on oot.Generally, most students do ne without a
car. In some cases a car may even be aninconvenience, since parking in and aroundBoston-Cambridge is limited. I you dohave a car, this will be something to takeinto consideration when searching or anapartment or residence. A reserved parking

Initial Expenses
Setting up your bank account in Bostonwill take a little time. You should plan toarrive with enough money to meet the initialexpenses o your rst weeks in the U.S.You should expect to spend about USD$30 per day or meals at moderately pricedrestaurants. Hult has a restaurant (open or
breakast and lunch) on the ground fooroering a variety o oods.
It is a good idea to arrive with some U.S.currency on hand. Foreign exchangeservices are available at Logan Airport sothat you may change money upon arrival.

While living in Boston, the easiest way to

Weathering the New England Climate
New England is the region in the
Northeastern corner o the United Statescomprised o six states: Maine, NewHampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, RhodeIsland and Massachusetts. One o themost distinctive eatures o the coastal NewEngland climate is that it changes not onlyrom season to season, but rom moment tomoment! An old New England saying is: Iyou dont like the weather, wait a minute.
Boston has no dry or rainy season. Thenormal precipitation or each month isapproximately three inches. Approximateaverage temperatures are as ollows:

Boston has a wide variety o eating establishments including a good selection o internationalcuisine. Please note that restaurants in the U.S. do not include a service charge in their bills

MBA Toolbox
The MBA Toolbox begins on September2, 2009. All students are required to takethis one-month introductory course. It isdesigned to provide you with the basic skillsand conceptual oundations you will need orthe Hult MBA program.Accordingly, you will be introduced to someo the sot skills approaches that you willdevelop to a much greater extent over theyear ahead. In particular, you will haveopportunities to learn and apply skills orcross-cultural teamwork.Sessions in international nance, accounting,and quantitative methods will sharpen yourskills in applying the appropriate tool tovarious situations. You will also learn thecase study methodan excellent tool orbuilding management and leadership abilitybeore the regular classes begin.In addition, Hult MBA Career Services willbegin working with you on your career goalsand objectives. One to one counselingsessions will assist Career Services indeveloping your career path strategy.Coaching will include lessons in creatingaccomplished, thoughtul resumes.The Toolbox is a vital step in preparing youor the challenges and demands o Hultsast-paced MBA program and also o todaysbusiness world.

In order to work most eectively through theMBA program requirements, we require thateach participant have a laptop computeravailable to him or her during the courseo the year. The computer must be able torun Windows and MS Oce XP or 2007(Proessional) in English. I your computerhas that capability, then there will be enoughmemory or the unctions you will be usingthroughout the year. Hult inrastructurecannot guarantee ull compatibility with Applelaptops. Students must use and update theirvirus protection sotware regularly.
In addition, you will need a wireless accesscard (802.11 g) to make ull use o thecomputer acilities that will be available toyou.

CostsofYourMBA
Payment o Tuition and Fees
60 days beore the start o MBA, you will be required to pay 50% o your total tuition andees. The remaining balance is due 30 days beore the rst day o the MBA.
Financial Aid
A limited number o merit-based ellowships are available to accepted students. Theseellowships oer students the opportunity to work with aculty and sta members orapproximately eight hours per week. Fellowships are typically around US$3,000.Theellowships available each year are communicated to students at the time o application andare selected by the Financial Aid Committee. Recipients are notiied prior to their arrival.
The majority o our students utilize some orm o education loan even i they receive a
scholarship or ellowship. Students requiring inancing or their tuition costs can have 1) bankloan or 2) Erika loan:
1) Financial institutions in many countries oer education inancing speciically to localcitizens wishing to pursue an MBA. These loans are typically repayable ater completion othe course, although terms vary widely. We are happy to work with our students to helpthem identiy suitable inancial institutions to apply or these loans.
2) Hult has established a partnership with Erika Finance, a Swiss Financial Institution, to oerstudent loans to international students who do not have a U.S. resident co-signer. These
loans oer very competitive interest rates. The loans are typically oered over ive years withrepayments starting rom six months ater graduation.
These costs include your one-year MBAtuition and other required ees, as well as
discretionary expenses or housing and living.
