As General Manager for this 5 star, award winning hotel, I was responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation of this only 5 star boutique hotel located in the center of Surabaya City. This unique property, once owned by the famous Sarkies family boasts 143 elegantly furnished rooms, 4 F&B outlets, a signature spa and fitness center, a ballroom and 10 breakout rooms. The hotel was nominated and honored to represent Indonesia for the 2010 UNESCO Asia World Heritage Award. The hotel has also been recognized as the BEST Business Hotel in Indonesia for the 2nd consecutive year by World Travel Awards Committee and one of Indonesia 50 Best Hotels for 2011. I have been responsible for the revitalization of this property and have since my arrival in December 2009 increased occupancy by 44% and Gross Revenues by as much as 50% compared to the same period in 2009. We implemented many new training programs which have resulted in the hotel being named the #1 hotel in Surabaya on Trip Advisor for 16 consecutive months. Pre-opening General Manager for the only five star 150 room property located in the

Northern Sulawesi town of Manado. I was responsible for all actions leading up to the

opening of this new business resort including overseeing of all final construction work,

installation of all FF&E and planning of all landscaping. Additionally, I was responsible

for the final phase of project management which included all finishing details necessary

to operate a full service spa, three F&B outlets and the largest banquet and meeting space

in Manado; sufficient space to host 2,000 guests. I was directly responsible for the

implementation of all hotel operating systems, standards and procedures and both pre-

opening and operational budgets for 2008 and 2009. I also assisted the DOS&M in

preparing the Sales Action Plan for the remainder of 2008 and for fiscal year 2009.

development project in Southern Montenegro. Duties included overseeing final

work by contractors, overseeing final completion pay-outs, and completing the licensing

process for the opening of a newly renovated 100 room hotel and all duties associated

with the pre-opening process for the hotel. Additionally, I am the in country Managing

Director for the construction of a new 185 room 5 star full service hotel which began

construction in late October 2008. My duties also included acting in the temporary

capacity as the General Manager for the newly renovated hotel. In this capacity, I have

been responsible for all actions and events leading up to the opening of this renovated

property.

operation of a property, which will realize 7 million in room revenues and another 1.5

million in food and beverage sales. Through regularly scheduled Executive Committee

meetings, I along with the TEAM coordinate the smooth operation of this property. I

was an active participant in the local community with governmental, civic and military

components all contributing to growth in room sales. Market segments for this

property include corporate, government, military and transient guests. The hotel will

undergo a complete renovation in late 2005 in accordance with the recently conducted

Property Improvement Plan (PIP) conducted by Marriott International.

property was a full service Four Points by Sheraton in Silverthorne, CO. As general manager, I am responsible for the financial success of the hotel. Specific duties include conducting all department level meetings, establishing clear and measurable goals for each department and driving the sales effort along with the sales department. Additionally, I, along with the department managers have completed the 2005 preliminary budget, which will flow 42% to the GOP, and 51% to the NOI. Guest Service Indices for this property are above the target set by Starwood for Four Points by Sheraton in North America. Last Quality Assurance Inspection resulted in above benchmark scores in all categories with the exception of brand identity items, which are a reflection of capital expenditure levels. (Property was sold by Sunstone in August 2004)

Utah. As general manager, I, along with the executive team were responsible for the

overall smooth operation of a major city center hotel which boasted 17 million dollars

in annual revenues. More specifically, I was responsible for the overall financial

performance of the hotel and adherence to Sheraton and Starwood standards. I was

responsible for development of both the annual budget and the yearly sales action plan.

I participated in sales calls on key accounts and helped develop a new method of

recording and updating all expense accounts within the hotel.

Sept. 96 I was responsible for the entire operation of this 125 room 4 star boutique hotel on

Tumon Bay in Guam. While General Manager, I increased occupancy from an opening

level of 21% to over 63% with a RevPar of $83. I successfully negotiated contracts with

all major Japanese wholesalers for 1997 and 1998. I also continued to develop new

training programs within each department which resulted in a 87% overall guest

satisfaction level in just 2 years.

Oct. 93 Director of Sales and Marketing As the sales and marketing manager, I continued to

be responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for this newly opened, 5 star, 334-

room resort on the island of Guam. I concluded contracts with all major Japanese tourist

wholesalers with an estimated yearly value of approximately 14 million dollars.

Emphasis on building volume and yield through targeting FIT, wholesale travel agents,

incentive travel and corporate clients was highly successful. I concluded contracts with

such well know advertising agents as AB Road and Ohta Publications. I along with the

General Manager successfully completed and subsequently had approved the 2007 and

2008 budgets for revenue and also all sales goals.
