Scope:

1. Context - The context needs to describe the circumstances that influenced the development, implementation and impact of the practice. This is essential because it will explain if a practice could be applied in another setting.

2. Level of Intervention - This describes at what level the practice or strategy has been carried out.

3. Beneficiaries/Users of the Practice/Strategies - This describes to whom the practice or strategy applies. This can be individuals, groups, or organizations (NGOs, government) at different levels of intervention.

4. Problems Addressed - Describe the problem that was addressed and that instigated the practice. This section should be relatively short and not describe circumstances that led to the problems.

5. Purpose of Intervention - This describes the objectives and expected results from the practice or strategy.

6. Strategy of Implementation - This describes the strategies used in the implementation of the practice including the sequence of activities taken by the different actors involved during the whole process of implementation. The description should be as concrete as possible. This can also include the overall process from the moment it was identified and the decision to address the problem was taken (e.g. priority setting, conceptualization, planning, implementation and monitoring)

Your answer for each criterion must not exceed 500 words and should cover:

O the circumstances (nature of the problem or objective) and impact (this should not be more than a brief sentence or two)O behavioral evidence, i.e. what you actually did.

Cite the innovative systems and processes that enhanced the local governance experience in your respective areas of responsibility.

Resources required for the practice- This section has to cover:

O Skills requiredO Infrastructure/materials requiredO Financial resourcesO Training requiredO Human resources required

Results and impact - Mention results of the project here. These may include anticipated impacts (the goal to be reached), but also include unanticipated impacts that have occurred as a result of the practice.

Critical Issues and Lessons Learnt- This provides reflection and analysis of the practice or strategy.
