Making our mascot:THE BEE

Greece and Catalonia

• We followed the useful instructions that Poland gave us in order to make our mascot.

Material

• 2 balloons, adhesive Wikol (glue for wood), hot melt adhesive, yellow, white and black thread, white and colored paper, foil, beverage bottlecord

Instructions

• 1. Inflate a balloon, spread Wikol on it and wind the thread. After winding, leave to dry for 2 days (bee's body). Do the same with the second balloon but prepare it smaller and round (bee's head).

• 2. Cut double wings with some paper and stick foil in the middle. Stick the wings to the body.

• 3. Connect the body to a head with some hot melt adhesive.

• 4. Weave 6 braids with some twine (bee's legs).Put them through the threads of the body.

• 5. Cut two rectangles with a bottle (bee's antennae). Wound the thread at the end of these rectangles. Stick them to the head.

• 6. Cut out eyes, a nose and a mouth with colored paper and stick them to the bee's head
