LATAR BELAKANG
Latar belakang dari perancangan Automatic Cabbage Selector ini yaitu :
•Penyortiran menggunakan tenaga manusia membutuhkan waktu yang relatif lama;
•Penyortiran menggunakan tenaga manusia tidak dapat mendeteksi apabila terdapat ulat pada bagian dalam kubis;
•Penyortiran menggunakan tenaga manusia dari segi ukuran hanya secara visual.

TUJUAN
Tujuan dari perancangan Automatic Cabbage Selector ini yaitu :
•Mempercepat proses penyortiran kubis;
•Menjadikan hasil penyortiran kubis bebas dari ulat, serta higienis;
•Mengurangi tenaga kerja dalam proses penyortiran.

DESIGN CRITERIA
Mampu bekerja 12 jam non-stop;
Hasil penyortiran benar-benar higienis dan bebas ulat;
Kapasitas penyortiran 240 kubis per jam.

DESIGN CONSTRAINTS
Harga kurang dari 100 juta;
Hanya membutuhkan 1 orang operator;
Automatic Cabbage Selector tidak memakan banyak tempat.
