General

The Kit for Wall Mounting makes it possible to mount the MicroPower Outdoor Cabinet to a

wall. Minimum 2 persons should cooperate during this installation. Installation must be done by authorized personnel only.

The Kit for Pole Mounting is designed to support the MicroPower Outdoor Cabinet with one

 battery bank. Do not put additional weight on top/into the system once it has been installed on

a wall.

Eltek Energy recommends that the system is powered down before installation of the kit.

Recommended tools

Standard equipment used by an authorized electrician. NOTE: All tools must be insulated.

Lifting equipment should be used for safety reasons.

Torque settings

•  M8 screws wall mounting kit/rear side of cabinet: 10Nm

•  M8 screws (not delivered with this kit) for wall: Minimum10Nm

Installation

Step Description Comment OK 

1 Mount both cross-memebersto the wall. The bars are

identical. See Figure 1 for a

drilling template. Let the key

holes face upwards.

The mounting hardware for 

fitting the cross members to

the wall is not in scope of 

delivery because there are

many different types of 

materials used for walls.

Torque: Minimum10Nm.

2 Fit the four M8 screws into

the rear side of the cabinet.

Do not tighten these screws

yet. Let each screw stick out

5-7mm.

Fix the metal bars to a

wall through these holes.

3 Demount the cabinet roof 

and fix straps to the eye-

 bolts. Lock the door so it

does not swing during

lifting. Lift the cabinet with

lifting equipment attached tothe straps.

Balance the cabinet to

 prevent it from swinging.

NOTE! Do not lift the

cabinet with batteries

installed.

Warning! Do not stay under 

the cabinet during

installation. 

4 Position the cabinet above

the wall brackets. Lower the

cabinet slowly. Let the

screws on the rear side of 

the cabinet slide into the key

holes in the wall brackets.

Check that the screw heads

and washers all enter the

inside of the brackets.

Tighten the screws.

Torque: 10Nm.

5 Remove the straps and 

remount the roof.

The electrical installation

can now begin.
